J-
Tuesday.

"Jide, shut up.." Tobi hissed at JJ from across the breakfast table.

I wasn't following their conversation, as I was still deep thought; for the second day in a row.

I sat with my hand on my fist, my other hand swirling my cereal around in my bowl with a small spoon.

The whole group was here, except for Simon.

Simon had told me about the bruises, and I wished he hadn't now. As now, it meant my worries had multiplied drastically.

I couldn't wrap my mind around it, and I couldn't ask him either; as he never wanted to speak of it.

"It makes sense!" Jide protested with his mouth full of food from the right of me.

I sighed, continuing to swirl my full bowl of cereal about.

"You're bloody mental," Ethan told Jide from across the wooden surface, tapping his fingers on the top.

"You can't just show up at her dorm and fuck," Harry chuckled, hitting his fist on the table as his other arm was around Vik; who was sat quietly digging into his cereal as he read the daily newspaper.

Cute.

"Why not?" Jide quizzed, stupidly.

I rolled my eyes, wishing that I didn't decide to tune back in to discussion at this point.

"You'll get caught," Tobi exclaimed, not realising how Jide could be this slack. The whole 'plan' was flawed. "If not by a teacher or student, by her bloody brother."

"Weller is cool, he won't mind," Jide commented and the lads snorted.

"Yeah, he won't bloody mind when he's bartering your brains out," Ethan commented, and the lads laughed; all except for Vik and I.

I then felt a brush against my left arm, I turned to see Simon sitting beside me.

I opened my mouth to speak, but I was cut off by JJ.

"You going to eat that or?" He asked, motioning to my full bowl of cereal.

I just shook my head, I wasn't that hungry anyway.

"Morning," Simon greeted groggily, he wasn't so chirpy on a morning. Well, he wasn't all that chirpy anymore anyway.

"Hey," I responded rather lazily, feeling pretty out of it after thinking again for a while.

"You alright?" He asked, speaking quietly.

I nodded back to him, forcing a small smile on my lips.

I wasn't happy at all. Not now that I knew what was happening to him.

"You?" I finally asked back, and he nodded sweetly as he hummed.

I checked around to see if anyone would notice; before taking his hand from beneath the table.

I stroked over his knuckles with my thumb, sending him a smile of reassurance.

"Homos!" Our group heard a year nine boy yell, and I let Simon's hand go as quick as lightening.

My heart began to beat fast, as I assumed that the shout was at Simon and I.

I turned around, to see the year nine not pointing at me; but pointing at Vik and Harry instead.

Vik looked as if he was about to cry, and Harry just looked fucked off.

"Oi!" Ethan boomed to the kid across, pointing at him. "Don't see you sat with anyone who's interested in your groggy arse! You lowlife cunt!"
