Sunday.

I walked along with the boys as they made their way to the bar. We were planning on watching the football game, but that was the last thing on my mind.

Yesterday, I kissed my best friend for the first time.

Yesterday, I kissed a boy for the first time.

Jesus, it felt weird saying it over in my mind.

It was awkward between us, not because I was necessarily uncomfortable; it was more to do with the fact that I was confused as fuck.

"You know, if they get too loud; we can leave," Harry assured, gently rubbing Vik's shoulder.

I watched them ahead of me, none of us even needed to ask of assume; we all knew the two were loved up.

"Ill be okay, promise," Vik smiled brightly at the blonde, sending him a singular nod before continuing onward.

That moment alone made me smile, it kind of made me think of Simon in a way.

Not that I wanted a relationship, hell, I didn't even know if I wanted one with a boy.

I glanced over to my best friend, who was avoiding me like he would with a straight female.

I sighed, the whole thing was a bit messy and I didn't really know how to feel.

I didn't want this to ruin things, so I stepped over to his side as he walked.

"Hey," I spoke quietly, and he turned his head to mine.

"Hey," he repeated, his lips curving into a small smirk.

"You excited for the game?" I asked, trying my best to break the bloody awkwardness.

"Mhm," he chirped. "More excited to get my hands on a pint."

I rolled my eyes at his words, tutting slightly as my head shook. "No getting smashed today, hear me?" I warned, nudging his elbow with my own as I did so.

Simon huffed like a disobedient child, frowning at me playfully. "Why? Ill be up for class tomorrow.."

"Sure you will," I responded sarcastically. "You're seeing your mentor, first sessions mean good impressions."

I was proud of that rhyme, but Simon seemed the opposite.

He snorted, shaking his head. "You deserve to die for that.. You sound like a bloody father," he continued to chuckle.

"Just cause I'm right, Minter.." I spoke smugly, my own lips showing nothing but smugness.

"Whatever, Bradley,"

"Zerker to you, thank you very much."

Simon then stopped, turning fully towards me; not seeming to care that the lads were around us.

"I prefer Joshy.."

Aw.

"Bullshit!" Ethan shouted towards the TV in the pub as his supported team took the loss in the final minute.

I sat back, smiling nonchalantly as I could not give a fuck about the game right now.

"Unlucky," Tobi sighed sympathetically, patting Ethan's shoulder gently.

I then looked to my right, seeing the rest of the lads fill the booth we were seated at.

I saw Vik and Harry whispering to one another, Harry had his arm shamelessly around Vik's shoulder. It was sweet.
