Xander POV

Today was just like every other day helping my father with his alpha work as I would soon be taking over from him in a few months when I turn 21. Both of us are working when the phone rings my dad answer it's and because of my wolf hearing I can hear both sides of the conversation.

"Hello this is alpha Max, how can I help you."

"Hello alpha this is Doctor Caine may I speak to you if you have a moment."

"Sure Doctor I'll see you in five minutes."

With that my dad put the phone down.

"Do you want me to leave while you two talk or should I stay."

"Stay son you have to learn how to talk when someone wishes to speak to you so please sit and listen alright."

"Sure dad."

Soon there is a knock on the door and my dad shouts, 'Enter.'

"Hello alpha, hello young sir."

"How can I help you Doc and what is it you would like to talk about."

"Alpha today I receive a phone call from a young man in England asking if I could have a word with you on his behalf as he doesn't have your number and that he got my number from a Doctor friend of mine by the name of Doctor Waters. I asked him what it was regarding and he told me this. 'Sir I know this maybe hard to believe but this Saturday I will be leaving my pack and I would like to become a part of your pack I know it's not your choose that alone lays with your alpha so if you could on my behalf, please ask him if he would consider letting me into his pack. If he would like to ring me and ask me why I am leaving please give him my number so he can ask me and I will tell him. I know this may make you feel uncomfortable but please can you pass my message on thank you. Oh I'm sorry I didn't tell you my name did I it is Nathaniel Black.' I talk to him for a bit longer and after I put the phone down I rang you, here is his number please call him if you have a moment. I will leave you now and thank you Alpha for a moment of your time."

"Your welcome Doc and I will call this young man after you are gone."

"Goodbye alpha, bye young sir."

After the doctor left my father picked up the phone and rang the young man and I sat and listened to them talk.

'Hello may I speak to Nathaniel please this is Alpha Max Harris of the Twilight pack, I understand you call and talk to the pack Doctor and asking me if I would consider letting you join my pack. But before I decide I need you to tell me why you are leaving your pack.'

'Hello Alpha Harris, I will tell you everything but first can I please ask you not to interrupt once I have started as it is a long story, and I don't mean any disrespect to you alpha it will just be easy to let me finish first before you ask me your question.'

'That's find so please start and if it's okay I'd like to put you on loud speaker as it will be easier then having the phone glued to my ear while we talk.'

'Of cause alpha I understand.'

'Just a moment and I will let you know when you can start.'

'Thank you alpha Harris.'

My dad put it an load speaker and as soon as my father said start I listened to everything being said, afterwards I understood why he wanted to leave his pack.

'Okay sir I'll start. As you already know my name is Nathaniel Black my father and mother are warriors in this pack and from the day I was born I was unwanted, unloved by them. When I was five they dropped me off at the pack house and I haven't seen them since that day. From that day forward I looked after those who live in the pack house more then I looked after myself. I learn to cook, clean, wash, all that you learn when your older not as young as I was at the time. Every morning I would wake up, workout before making breakfast for everyone, then I would go school. That was how my life has been from that day to this. That was until the soon to be Alphas birthday, that is the day my life changed. That night I had s*x with someone they pulled me into a room pushed me against the wall and kissed me, he was strong I couldn't push him off no matter how hard I tried. I didn't know who it was the room was dark and I couldn't see them but I know it was my mate because of the sparks running over my body wherever he touched me. I had to wait a few more weeks before I found out who it was because I was not yet eighteen. I turned eighteen a few days ago and found out who my mate was and who it was I had s*x with that night. My mate is the soon to be alpha of this pack his name is Dante Silver and he rejected me. I am also carrying his pups which he doesn't know about and I don't wish him to find out. That is one reason why I am leaving, the other is his rejection, the last is he is a player and can't keep it in his pants and every time he has s*x with someone I feel it. That is why I wish to be as far away from him as I can get and to bring up my pups without him being there. You may think it wrong of me but if he could rejected me then he will reject his pups and I don't want them having the life I have had I want them to know they are loved and wanted even if only by me. So please sir will you consider letting me join your pack if not I understand. I will go and live with the humans and raise them alone even if I have to turn rogue to do so. Which is something I don't want to do, I want them to know what it feels like to be part of a pack and not a rogue all their life.'

After he finished talking and having heard his story I hoped my dad would let him join our pack and to show him what it is like to be part of a pack and not someone who is unwanted, unloved and rejected.

'I don't have to think over anything, you are welcome to join this pack and I will met you this weekend when you arrive I will get someone to pick you up from the airport.'

'Thanks you alpha Harris I will see you this weekend.'

When the phone was put down the first thing I said was, 'I'll pick him up, welcome him to the pack and show him around.'

"Thanks son, you can go now we are finished for the day I'll see you later for dinner."

"Okay father, see you later at dinner."

After I left my dads office all I could think about was Nathaniel, how could someone do that to another living person even their own pup. He had a hard life but still cared more about other then he cared about himself, he would make a great Luna as that is how Luna's should be putting other before themselves.

As I was walking I bumped into my soon to be Beta James.

"Hey Xander, you okay, you look so deep in thought is it something I can help with."

"Maybe, we will have a new wolf joining us this weekend, he comes from England."

"Why would he want to join our pack?"

So I told him about him.

"His name is Nathaniel Black and all his life he has been unwanted, unloved and his mate rejected him and now he is leaving that pack and asked to join this one. What make it worse is that his mate is he soon to be alpha of that pack and he is also with pups. I'll be picking him up from the airport on Saturday so can you please be waiting for us when we arrive and make him feel welcome, something he had never known and yet he still grow up with a pure heart, caring for others before himself."

"He's sound real nice and yes I'll help make him feel welcome and so will the other once they hear his story."
