Jane POV

Once Finny closed the door and breath out heavily and leaned back against the headboard.  I grabbed the pillow from beside me and held it to my chest. I let the tears run down my face. I buried my face into the soft fabric and quietly sobbed.

They don't understand. They don't understand anything.

I jumped up from the bed and walked into the connecting bathroom. I searched and searched until I found what I wanted.

The small blade was brand new. So shiny and clean. I felt bad that I was going to dirty it, but I need to feel the release. To have to pain leave.

I rolled up my sleeve and placed the cold blade to my scared wrist. White and sliver scars decorated my slim, pale wrists. I push the blade into my skin, then pulling it along the surface. I watch as the blood drip down my arm.

I grabbed some toilet paper and wiped up to blood. As I cleaned my wounded I saw it close up on its own. I stared at it in shock. It was like I never cut myself. I grabbed the blade once again and sliced my arm over and over again.
There was blood everywhere.

I grabbed more toilet paper and wrapped at my arm. Nothing. There was nothing. I can feel the pain of the cuts but it just heals itself. I threw the blood drenched toilet paper down the toilet and flushes them.

I cleaned up the blood on the floor and made my way back to the bed. I hugged the pillow to me as I began to cry again.

No one understands me. Why can't I be normal again. That's right I'm dead. I can't go back.

That's when it snapped. If they don't understand me then no one ever will. I'm alone. Everyone will die and leave me behind.

I didn't feel anything. I feel....empty. Why should I try to be happy when all they will do is leave me one day. Why should I care when all I can do is fuck everything up.

I sat up and pushed the pillow away from me. I got off the bed and walked to the mirror in the bathroom. I look like shit but I don't care anymore.

I'm done caring. I'm done caring about everything and everyone.

Finny POV

Once I closed the door I could hear Jane's soft crying. I sighed and walked downstairs to the living room. Alpha Trevor and Luna Clara sat on the couch whispering to each other. When I walked into the room they stopped and turned to me.

"Finny we need to talk." I looked down and staggered toward them. I sat myself down beside them and stared at them, waiting to hear what they have to say.

"It's about Jane." They started. "We think that she might have recently turned. And she doesn't want to drink blood because of that. But if she doesn't then she will eventually she lose control of her willpower and go on a rampage. She feed like a monster and she will become a animal that she fears." I started to get worried.

"So we have to make sure se feeds?" I asked with worry lacing my words. They nervously look to each other. "Well we also have to keep an eye on her when she's feeding too. Because some vampire go crazy with power and the taste of blood.

I nodded in understanding and looked to them. "Ok, so who's go-" my sentence was cut off by the heavy smell of blood. It smelt so thick. My eyes widen as I looked at the stairs leading up to Jane's room.

I look Trevor and Clara before I dashed up the stairs with them behind me. I burst through the door and saw Jane standing in front of the mirror in the bathroom.

She slowly turned her head to me with no emotion. Her light blue eyes were now dull and dark. I rushed over to her and gripped her shoulders. "Jane what did you do."  I said staring into her lonely eyes.

She simply shrugged, "nothing." I looked to the Alpha in concern. "Jane, what happened?" Alpha said. She shrugged again.

"Jane, what's wrong?" "I said nothing so can you get out of my face!" She snapped at me. Trevor moved me out of the way and lifted her chin. She didn't make eye contact with him. She would look at the ceiling or his lips.

"Jane, what happened." His voice was strong and firm. It was a command. It made me shiver at the sound. For the first time, she looked him in the eyes. "I just don't care anymore." Was all she said.

Jane wiggled her way out of his grip and sat on her bed. Alpha looked at her like she was a new creature that's never been seen. He studied her closely before turning around and walking out of the room with Luna on his heels.

I closed the door and sat in a chair in the corner of the room. Jane just stared at empty space. I sighed and waited for the Alpha's orders.

Alpha Trevor POV

Something isn't right. It's like she shut off her emotions. Like nothing in the world means anything to her. An empty shell.

I paced back and forth in the living room. Clara was watching me intensely. What can we do to help her? Why is this happening? Of all the stories of a vampire's first feeding or how they turned never had this kind of reaction to it.

As I paced the heard the door bell go off. I groaned and walked to the front door. I pulled the door open and there stood two people.

One smelt like a wolf and the other a vampire. The woman stood proud and confident. Her colorful hair spilled over her shoulders with pinks, blues, and reds. Her piercing blue eyes stabbed me with rage. The man stood with confidence but also reserved. His chocolate brown hair fell over his hazel eyes curling at the ends.

"Um, may I help you?" I said as my face grew with confusion. "Yes. Yes, you may." The woman said as her words dripped with venom. "Um....well what is it?" I asked.

"We're here for Jane. Give her back."
