Makoto (Swimmers luck)

       "Go Makoto!!" You yell at the top of your lungs. You were at one of your best friends swim meet and he was currently racing one of the top school's in the state. The boys were so close it was almost to hard to tell who was in front. Makoto was easily breezing through the water making his muscles, as usual, made Kou drool and produce a strange sparkle around her body. His team mates were cheering him on as they reached closer to the final lap. 

 "Come on Tachibana!!" Rin cheered. "Hey no cheering for the other team." Rin playfully punches the small blonde, Nagisa. "Yeah, yeah right." He laughs. They both turn back to the water. You and Kou had been placed in the stands watching over them all, bouncing your knees in anticipation. Soon enough, the last lap had came. Makoto had been tailing this guy for the longest time and the whole Iwatobi team had erupted, standing up out of their seats yelling for the green haired boy hoping he would speed it up a bit. You and the younger Matsuoka screamed for the teen cupping your hands around your mouths, like all hell was about to break loose. Through his fogged up goggles, he could see yours and Kou's blurry figures standing up waving your arms in the air. His face heated up and that same heat shot through his body moving together with his sore muscles. 

His feet paddled quickly through the water in small patterns, he lengthens his arms almost propelling him out of the water. You and her gasp. "Y/n I think he saw you!" You immediately feel tingly as the boy you have a crush on, noticed you.  Kou nudges you and makes a face. "Oh shut up!" You both laugh and continue looking at the race. The faster the teens went the louder the crowd got, He quickly caught up with the other boy and were neck in neck. They both hit the timer. He practically ripped his swim cap and goggles off just in time for the others to pull in. You could tell he was out of breath, he was just so pale from the work out. 

The monitor on the wall soon pulled in the times and places.

The stadium went silent, You could even hear a pin drop. All of your hearts pounded each second that went by waiting for the next 2 places.

2nd- Liam Eggert

1st- Makoto Tachibana

It stays quiet until your voice breaks it. "Go Makoto!!" The crowd roars and stands up. In the distance, you could see Makoto fall to his knees, his teams huddling around him laughing and smiling. You get up from your seat. "Hey, where you going?" Kou asks. "I'm gonna go take a breather." She smiles. "Okay, Just meet us up later, I know Nagisa will want to celebrate." You chuckle. "Okay." 

It was a bit chilly outside, especially for a swim meet. You fold your arms around your body trying to warm yourself up.

You breathe out and giggle looking at your visible air you had sighed out. You do it a second time and giggle more being amused by the second. You didn't notice behind you, but the stadium door had opened with rallied up teenaged Iwatobi boys walking down the sidewalk where you were. "Hey Mako look." Rei pointed to you. They all saw his face heat up, and Nagisa nudged him, They all chuckle at his embarassment.

"Go to her." Haru pipes in. Makoto turns around to look at him.

"What?!"

"Yeah just talk to her get it over with."

He thinks for a second and looks back at you who was still preoccupied. "Fine." He slowly walks towards you, thinking about he would or could possibly talk to you about.

"H-hey y/n." He waves to you as you turn around and wave back. "Hi Makoto! You did awesome at the meet." You both smile. Silence had settled in leaving you both twiddling your thumbs. "So..." You rock your feet back and forth. He sighs and takes a deep breath in. "WillyougooutwillmeIreallyreallylikeyou." You make a face. "What?" He bites his lip, which you bought was adorable. "I really like you." You pause. He frowns after a couple of seconds go by. "Sorry, just forget I said anything." He turns.

Before he could leave, you chuckle at his cuteness, grab his shoulder, and turn him back around.

He opened his mouth to say something but you shut him up by lean up to kiss him. His eyes went wide open and after a second he slowly closed them and kissed back.

Let's just say it didn't end there...
