Hiccup (Lonely girl)

This version, I'm just gonna act like Astrid died instead of his father...whoops.

Also, I'm going to Disney world for my 16th birthday and I'm so excited!! I also may to an author reveal just because why not you know? And I apologize for not really posting too much on here, but I am trying to space out a lot of things as well as plan for my trip.

 "Nightwing!?" You yell into the black abyss of a forest. You had been living off the coast of a small island near the ocean for a while. Your family had been Vikings; great scavengers of the seas. Unfortunately whilst off on the waters, they never came back. You'd wait for months but they'd never give off word that they had returned. Two years pass and they had never returned. While waiting for them off the shore a dragon had snuck up behind you obviously curious to see what you were. It turned out to be a night fury, the last one of her kind. As it turns out, she was very shy and easily frightened by your presence as you were her. 

After another month or so of waiting Night wing had shown up more and more, quickly becoming your friend. 

This night, in particular, she hadn't shown up in a while and you had grown worried about the white dragon. "Night wing!" You call out again. You navigate yourself through the greenery till you find yourself at the beach where Nightwing had been. "Night wi-" You stop yourself. Your jaw quickly drops to the floor as you look at what was in front of you.

It was a second night fury. Nightwing wasn't the only one, you couldn't believe it. You quickly stagger back into the bushes in an attempt to draw attention away from yourself. They were jet black with green eyes, and awkwardly waddling towards her trying to impress her, you hold your hand over your mouth to stop you from laughing. He began to dance a little jig that really sent you over the edge causing you to crack up and fall over onto the sand. You immediately hear growling from the male but Nightwing you hear creep towards you. She nudges your arm and you look up from your laughter.

"Hey girl, I was wondering where you were." You tell her. She helps you up as your pat her head scratching her scales as well. 

"Who are you!?" You jump up as a man jumps out of the hill behind you both. You shriek as your butt collides with the ground. The man reels out a sword your way lighting it up with fire. Your eyes widen in fear as the male night fury slowly creeps behind him. Night wing begins to growl as well to show that she will protect you from them. You place your hand on her snout and try to push her back. "Night wing calm down." You tell her, then looking back a the man. He had shaggy honey brown hair and a bit of scruff but not too much. 

"Who are you?" He asks you again. "I could ask you the same thing." You say back standing up to him. "I've never seen you around Berk before," He says sliding his sword back. 

"Berk?" He nods. 

"I-I've never heard of Berk." You tell him honestly. He pats his dragon calming him down. "Well, it's not too far from here actually. How come you've never heard of it?" You shrug. "I don't really know I guess I've just spent so much time waiting for my parents that I just never had the time to go up there." 

You pause. "Anyways, isn't your dragon a night fury?" He nods. "Is yours?" He asks back, you nod. "This here is Night wing. I'm y/n." He slowly smiles. "This is Toothless, I'm Hiccup chief of Berk." 

"Wow, chief? That's incredible." He smirks. "Toothless is actually the alpha of dragons." He boasts. You raise a brow. "Alright, Mr. overachiever." He laughs. "Thank you. So Night wings your dragon?" You shrug. "I wouldn't say that but she's very overprotective of me." You tell him scratching Night wings head. 

"Well, if you're not really in a rush or anything, I could show you the way to Berk if you'd like." He offers. You open your mouth to say something but nothing comes out. You think for a second, biting your lip. "I-I don't know..." You try to say no but that was before Night wing swiftly head butted your back to fall towards Hiccup. You look back and laugh. "I guess I don't have a choice do I?" You say. He laughs. "I guess you don't." 

He turns to hop onto Toothless. You stare at him strangely. He looks up at you before closing a helmet over his head. "What?" He asks. "Well, I've just never seen someone...ride a dragon." 

He opens his helmet. "You haven't?" You shake your head. He looks away thinking for a moment. "Could Nightwing follow us?" You look at Night wing. "Will you follow Toothless?" She looks over at a smiling Toothless and rolls her eyes nodding. You smile. "Great, y/n would you get behind me?" You blush as he pats a seat behind him. 

Guess it's off to Berk...
