(This story is MY idea. If my date that I posted this is lower than yours and it's the same plot then I have proof that you copied it. Just wanted to make that clear!)
Those who have already read this story but are coming back to this, I have made a couple of changes to the story. The only thing I really changed is where she lives. I have made other corrections to this story but if you find something wrong just ignore it :)

Chapter One - Moving
It might be just a myth but in the end it's all real.
We're moving to Wellsboro, Pennsylvania. A lot of woods around here and its pretty cold. But it's also the middle of winter and I'm use to the hot weather. Florida was so nice. The heat, the beach, a sun tan . . . I'm going to miss it all.
My little sister Ashley is excited but she really didn't have any friends in Florida. Well, neither did I but that's because people think I'm a freak. My eyes turn different colors depending on the weather, my clothing, and my emotion. Sometimes I can even change it if I wanted to. My mom, Sarah, and her new husband, Ray, think I'm special but I know it's more than that.
Speaking of my mom's new husband he is nice and I'm happy that my mom is happy. He loves my sister and I very much, which is shocking because most 'guys' don't like kids. My real dad died about three years ago in a car accident. It's been tough without him but I know he's in a better place.
"We're almost there Ash." My mom told her.
My sister is only in third grade and I'm in tenth. Tomorrow is Monday which means school. Pre-K -12th is all connected to the same building so knowing Ash I'll probably have to walk her to her class, and knowing me I'll probably get lost. On the bright side I get to drive my mom's new SUV.
"We're here." My mom said while she pulled in the long drive way. "Why don't you two go take a look around?" My mom came to a full stop and Ash and I got out of the car. I was about to shut the door till my mom stopped me.
"Emily?"
"Yeah mom?"
"I hope you like your room. It's at the end of the hall upstairs to your left."
I didn't say anything; I just slammed the door and walked away. It was freezing out here. The wind blowing, snow falling lightly; I don't like it.
I looked at the house that I now will be living in. The house was a dark blue with a garage to its right which was the same shade blue. The house was two levels and was bigger than the other houses on this street. It looked like a path led to the back around the house.
I ran to the house to get away from the cold. When I first walked in, there was a hall with a closet to my right. I walked slowly down the hall till I came to the next room to my left; it was the kitchen with shiny counters and an expensive stove by the looks of it. It led to another room to the right side of the kitchen which was the living room. I went through that doorway instead of going straight to the living room from the hall.
When I stood in the front of the living room the wooden stair case was straight ahead and the dining room doorway was by the stairs. I went upstairs making sure I wouldn't slip from my wet shoes. At the top of the stairs was a room to my left with Ash in there. To my right was the bathroom and again to my right was probably going to be Sarah and Ray's room. I went down the hall to the last room which was going to be mine. I opened the door and took a step in.
The room was a light blue and black making striped pattern back and forth on the wall. My two favorite colors. My bed was against the right side of the wall head first. The closet is ahead when you first walk in and there's a bathroom at the end of the room. There are a lot of boxes everywhere; it looks like the furniture wasn't here yet except the bed so it will probably all arrive tomorrow.
