"You do?" He seemed surprised.
I sat back down, placing my chin in my hand, forgetting that the other one was still in Adrien's.
"I think I am. He's shown me more respect and... Somewhat affection than anyone else." I explained.
Just then, I heard a most familiar voice, "HEY ADRIEN! Hey Violet."
It was Marinette, her usual friendly self, though a bit shocked to see me in such a romantic spot with Adrien... Holding. His. Hand.
"Oh cool! You guys are a thing?" She tried not to sound hurt.
I looked at him, "No. We aren't a thing Mari." She obviously loved him, "So he's all yours."
She tried not to squeal, she definitely knew that I knew she liked him. She whispered in my ear, "Thank you!"
"But," Adrien tried to speak but I cut him off.
I sighed, "I know you guys like each other. Mari you can't stop looking at him in class, acting all cute when he's around. Adrien, you can't stop talking about her. Even if it's not in the best of ways, you can't get her off your mind. If that's not a couple I don't know what is."
They looked at each other, and I smiled.
Adrien sighed, "Violet... I did like her... But,"
"SEE!" I yelled, "You guys like each other! This is perfect! Now if you excuse me I have to go find someone."
So I set off to find Cat.
It was a few hours and I came back to the bench where we first formally met. His dazzling smile, shiny green eyes, and remarkably funny cat-itude. (And his adorable cat puns.) I haven't known him for LONG (tho a week and a half is a very long time), so it was hard to come to the conclusion that I LOVED him. But at least I liked him. That's a start.
"Somehow I knew you'd be here, Violet." A charming voice said from the roof of the store behind me.
"Cat!" I said, and I leaped up and whipped around.
But he wasn't there. It must have been my imagination. I turned back around and he kissed my nose.
"Excited are we?" He smiled, "You can't keep away."
I smirked, "Oh yes, your paw-sitively paw-some."
He winked, "My lady, Aren't you such a claw-ver (clever) girl."
"Ok ok, furry (very) funny. Enough is enough." I laughed.
He smiled a mysterious grin, "Would you say I'm... Hiss-terical?"
I poked his nose, "Nope. Your just meow-velous."
"Well, may I just say, I think your very purr-ty." He replied, kissing my hand.
I blushed, and looked at my lap. Again, I felt cat lay down on the bench and rest his head in my lap. I saw his gleaming eyes smile up at me in their own way.
"We have to stop meeting like this." I said.
He smiled a cute grin, "Why stop? It's fun."
I laughed, "Your too cute."
His eyes danced with excitement.
"Cat I have to tell you something..." I whispered.
He seemed intent, "Awww don't tell me your dating that Adrien fellow. That's no fun."
"No, I'm not." I smiled, "But I do like someone."
He leaned up, kissed my nose, and sat up next to me.
"Guessing games! It's time to have some fun meow (now)." He laughed.
I smiled, "It's not time yet. I need to get to know him first. Hang out with him more."
He stared intently at the sky, "Hmmm. Speaking of hanging out, How about we go for a tour around the city in less than a minute?"
"How are you supposed to do that?" I questioned.
He stood us both up, and wrapped his hand tightly around my waist. Then he used his pole and vaulted us to the very top of the Eiffel Tower.
I looked around and I could see all of Paris.
"It's so beautiful." I took in all the sights.
His hand was still firm around my waist. It was big enough for both of us to stand. I unwrapped his hand from my waist.
"Be careful," he whispered. "There's a tiny breeze."
I lifted my hand into the air and felt the breeze glide across my fingers. It felt amazing. I knew this place was my home now, and I had amazing friends. I could finally be myself, my outgoing weird self.
I took down my hair, letting it's full green nature blow around. Carefully I stepped to the edge of the tower. I stood completely straight and extended my arms like a cross.
"My lady..." He said.
Then I felt the warm touch of his hands around my waist. He held me in place.
"Nothing like a good old titanic scene, mmm?" he whispered.
I laughed quietly. I liked him, and this proved it. If I trusted him enough to hold me on the edge of the Eiffel Tower, I could trust him with anything.
"Violet..." Coincidentally, He asked, "Do you trust me?"
I had no need to hesitate, "Yes. I trust you with my life."
Then, he pushed me off the Eiffel Tower. I was falling so fast, there was no need to scream. I was coming to my death. No way out. And to think I trusted him. I closed my eyes...
Then I felt a pull and I was no longer falling.
"Huh?" I said, and I opened my eyes. We were a layer down on the Eiffel Tower, still a part of it no one else visits. There was a tiny table, set up with 2 chairs and candlelight.
"I know it isn't very subtle." He stated.
I giggled, "NOTHING you do is subtle! Your Cat Noir!"
"Yeah, nothing beats subtle like pushing my lady off the top of the Eiffel Tower." He chuckled.
"Well, what's all this?" I asked, eyeing the whole candlelight dinner setup.
"I'm ready for my first date, my lady."
