Violet's P.O.V.
The hallway was colder than the cell, and I desperately wished I was wearing more than this tiny dress. Damn partying. I told Sierra I didn’t want to go out that night, but she forced me. Now I was stuck in the middle of a cold tunnel underground with a creepy robot in a skimpy red dress. I hated the colour red. Damn Sierra. Best friends suck sometimes.
“We are in the testing room.” The cyber man informed me, stepping aside so I could enter the large space. It was bigger than the cell, by a lot, but not so big that it seemed impossible for it to be underground.
In the centre of the room was a table with straps at the arms and legs. Fear spiked through my heart. Would they actually make me go on that?
“The female will lay down.” He instructed, pushing me towards the table.
“No!” I shouted, struggling against his grip. It was steel, though, and a human couldn’t overpower steel.
“The female will lay down.” He repeated, throwing me down onto the table. At this point, I decided to put all of my faith in The Doctor and to trust him. It was the only thing I had to hold on to.
So, I sat still while they strapped me to the table and wrapped my head with wires. It was hard, but I managed to avoid spitting insults at the life forms.
The original cyber man who brought me here walked over to the console on the side and pressed a button. An intense pain erupted in my skull. It felt as if the wires were pumping acid into my veins, burning and tearing its way throughout my body.
I screamed.
Doctor's P.O.V
I paced angrily in the small confines of the cell, trying to find a solution to this. I was always able to find a way out of every situation I got myself wrapped up in, but this time, my mind was blank. All I could think about was Violet, and how scared she’d looked when they took her away and how I was completely helpless.
I knew the cyber men. I knew what they did to people, and I knew for a fact that I couldn’t let them do such horrible things to Violet. How did this happen? It wasn’t fair.
If I hadn’t been so selfish, so desperate for a friend, she would be safe. No, I thought. The men would have caught up with her and… and what? I wasn’t stupid. I knew why they were chasing her, or at least I assumed. If I hadn’t shown up, she would have been assaulted, maybe killed.
Still, I didn’t have to get her involved. I could have dropped her off home the second she arrived inside the TARDIS. But no, I had to show off to her and take her to Rio, and I just had to suggest sliding down into the trap. Stupid.
I stopped pacing when I heard the scream. It was obviously Violet, and very much in pain. She sounded in pure agony, and that awoke something inside of me.
“Violet!” I shouted, fury flowing through my veins. They were touching her. Hurting her. I needed to make them stop.
Quickly, I pulled out my sonic screwdriver and used it on the lock. Nothing happened. I screamed in anger and pounded my fist against the cell door. Nothing.
Another scream rang down the corridor, this one louder and more in pain.
“Violet!” I spotted a cyber man standing outside the cell. “Let her go you bastard!” I shouted at it, but it didn’t move.
“Let her go...” My voice became quieter as I weakly pounded on the steel bars. “Violet.”
The screaming cut off.
