1.5: Day-off

"Mianhae, Y/N-ah! Ijust really can't leave my brother here. You see he's throwing up every now and then. I don't know what to do at all!" Nara said apologizing for taking up your day-off.
"It's okay, unnie. You stay there and take care of him. I'll take care of your work. Relax." You told her over the phone.
"Thank God I have a friend like you! Really. Thank you. I don't want I would if you're not around."
"It's nothing, unnie. Don't worry about it. Just focus on him for now and please avoid getting sick too."
"Ne. I will. Thank you so much, Y/N-ah! I promise to do anything for you in return!"
"You don't have to."
"But I will. Bye, Y/N-ah! You take care of yourself too, okay? Never drink the beverage my brother drank, okay?! And, don't hesitate to call me if you feel a sasaeng fan around! I'll immediately run to you."
"I told you to stop worrying. I'll be fine."
"Fine. Thanks again. Bye."

The call ended. You turned to face Nara's table. It's a big mess, like you. You shook the thought away. Today is your day-off, but since Nara can't go to work, you'll work today. You need to finish checking a 20-pages essay and a 17 pages long speech which she failed to do yesterday after her brother called her asking her to go home because he's sick.

"Time to work! Hwaiting!" You told yourself before starting.

Checking the essay isn't so hard, but the real challenge is the speech which came with a lot of grammatical errors and tons of wrongly spelled words. This is for one of Nara's students who are not homeschooled. He told you he needs to submit it tomorrow morning so it means you have less than 24 hours to finish checking it.

Now you doubt he ever listened to Nara when she taught him. There were too many errors for someone being taught already. Or maybe he was just not that quick as a learner. You worked continuously not knowing you already skipped breakfast and lunch until you saw the clock on Nara's table.

You have no food with you and the nearest store where food is available is just a few meters away so you picked up your bag and walked to the door. Just as you opened the door, you saw Seungcheol outside the room ready to turn the knob too. He laughed at your blank face.

"Wae?! What's with that look?" He asked you.
"Why are you here?"
"You told me it's your day-off so I went to your apartment but you're not there so I searched for you." He said letting himself in the room.
"Don't you have other things to do?"
"Nothing really. Only you."
"Choi Seungcheol,"
"Alright. Alright. We don't have anything to do now. We just filmed our cameo appearance in Jun's new drama this morning. Now, we have no work, okay?"
"I see. Stay here while I go buy food." You told him ready to leave.
"What? Wait. No need!"
"Why?"
"Because I cooked lunch for you. Can't you see?" He said showing you a paperbag.
"Jinjja? Wae?"
"Because I'm such a sweet boyfriend!~" He said showing his aegyo.
"And because I can't cook."
"Yeah. And that too, but it doesn't matter you know."
"But you said your ideal type is someone who cooks well."
"Do you think it didn't change when I met you? Now, I don't care at all. As long as it's you, I don't care." He said making you cringe.
"Just give me that. I'm hungry!" You told him taking the paperbag from him.

He cooked so many dishes for you it won't fit on the coffee table in the office room. You asked him to help you eat all of it so you ate together. You immediately went back to work after.

"What are you doing anyway?" He asked you when he got bored just sitting there without your attention.
"Work." You answered him. "Aish!" You whispered when your hair draped beside your face blocking your view a little for the nth time already as you were leaning down a little too much.
He went behind you. "Here. Let me." He said before tying your hair. "There. Yeppeo."
"Thank you, pabo." You said throwing your head back to look at him.
"It's nothing. I love you, yeobo." He said before leaning down to kiss you while you're seated and he's standing behind you.
"Why yeobo?"
"I don't know." He said before laughing.
