"Are you sure about this? I don't want to interfere with this because I don't really care about these kinds of stuffs, but I know the news. I don't know how he would feel about this when he finds out. It's inevitable you know. He'll eventually find out."
"He'll never find out because you won't tell him, right?"
"Mmm...I don't know. I have no time for this so...no, I won't."
"Good. You'll get what you want, I get what I want. Just keep quiet. No one else should know."
"Sure. Go out now. I don't like men being in my office."
"The usual Ms. Yoo. Business is business."You heard the door close and a woman sigh. Outside, it's raining. You hear the raindrops against the window pane. You slowly opened your eyes but quickly shut them close again when you saw her looking down at you. She sighed again.
"Stop acting. Your secrets are safe with me. Men are bothersome. They act like they own us." She said and you opened your eyes again.
"Mwo?"
"You. What do you remember exactly?"
You sat up on the bed. "Mwo?"
"Don't you understand English? Your kidnapper said you're an English tutor."
"Kidnapper?" You said making her smirk.
"So, you really don't remember?"
"Mwo?"
"Is that the only word you know?!" She said eyeing you.
"A-ani."
"So, you remember nothing at all? For real? Nothing about your husband?"
"What do you mean?"
"What is your name?" You frowned at her question, but you still answered her.
"I'm Choi Y/N."
"So your husband is Mr. Choi?" She's weird. You don't know why she's asking you these.
"Ne."
"How come you think Wonwoo is your husband when his real name is Jeon Wonwoo?" Your head starts to hurt again.
"Mwo?!"
"He changed his name just recently, after the wedding. That means you should still be Jeon Y/N. But, you're not." The pain is getting worse.
"What do you mean?!"
"Think." It hurts, but you wan to. You have to. You want to remember.
"Are you telling me he's not my husband?" You asked her and she smirked again.
"Very good, Y/N. The wedding I'm talking about is not your wedding with Wonwoo because it doesn't exist. Now, why does he hide you inside his house?"
"He's hiding me from-"
"Your husband, your real husband." She ended the sentence for you.
"You...you know who my husband is?"
She laughed at you. "Everyone does."
"Mwo?! Tell me!"
"If I tell you now, do you promise not to tell Wonwoo?"Ms. Yoo opened the door for you a few minutes after. You saw Jinseok and Wonwoo waiting outside. You smiled at Wonwoo before turning to face Ms. Yoo again. She held your hand firmly. Good luck, she mouthed.
"Are you okay now, jagi?" Wonwoo asked you.
"Ne. I'm hungry. Let's eat."
"Ne! Ne! We'll eat! Let's go. Thank you, Dr. Yoo." He said leading you to the front door.
"I hope you get in better place soon, Y/N." She told you making you stop on walking. You watched her get back in her office before walking out of the clinic with Wonwoo. You avoided staring at him because you don't want him to be suspicious. He must not know. Jinseok suggested a restaurant his friend owns. You went there with them. You just sat at the table while they chose what to eat.
"Jagiya, you said you're hungry. You don't seem to be hungry." Wonwoo said.
"I-I lost my appetite. I'm not that hungry anymore."
"Mwo? Then, do you still want to eat?"
"Yah. Y/N-ssi! Why are you like that?! It's my treat. Don't worry about the payment. Eat as much as you want." Jinseok said.
"Ani. I really feel full right now."
"Fine. We''ll just eat while you stare at our food!" He said making you smile. You stared outside the window while they ate. You think of what Ms. Yoo said. Choi Seungcheol is your husband. He told the public about your marriage after you went missing the day of your supposed second wedding. According to what Wonwoo explained to her, he kidnapped you. Accidentally, because you tried to stop him from taking you with him, you got involved in a car accident. Your head apparently hit a hard surface making you suffer from temporary amnesia. Wonwoo changed his last name to make it more believable for you that you are married to him because you remember being Mrs. Choi days after gaining consciousness again. He now brought you to Seoul to make you file a divorce obliviously before he marries you, which will never happen because now you know.
Or will it?
You remember no feelings for this Choi Seungcheol. I can't even remember his face. You feel no longing because...
Wonwoo is enough.
"Ah!~ I'm so full!~ I feel like my tummy's going to burst any time." Jinseok exclaimed as you walked to the door of the restaurant.
"Do you want to head home now, jagiya?" Wonwoo asked you.
"I want to go somewhere but it's still raining." You said walking backwards to smile at him.
"Where? We'll go there even if it's raining."
You reached out for the door handle behind you "Let's go to-" You stopped when you touched someone instead of the handle. You turned to apologize but you stood frozen when you saw who it is.
"Pabo." You said subconsciously.
"Gaja." Wonwoo said dragging you out of the restaurant.
"Wonwoo, wait!" Seungcheol said following you out. "Y/N!" He called out your name. You kept walking. You feel nothing. It's just the rain. You let Wonwoo lead you to wherever. You didn't even look at Seungcheol. You ran with Wonwoo through the rain. The street is slippery.
"Gajima! Y/N! Gajima!" Seungcheol shouted as he ran after you.
You glanced at him. He's your husband. "Don't look at him. Only look at me." Wonwoo said.
"Ne." You said and continued running with Wonwoo."Nae sarang!"
