2.3: Back to Seoul

"Take care, my daughter-in-law! Visit more often when you're not busy, ok?" Their father told you as Seungcheol helped get on the car.
"Ne. I will. Thank you!"
"Just tell me when the wedding is and where. I'll be there!"
"It won't take so long, appa." Seungcheol said as he sat on the driver's seat.

It's late in the afternoon now. You're heading back to Seoul after a mini celebration with their neighbors and relatives. They were all nice to you. Some of them even cooked food for you. A 13-year-old girl living 2 blocks away even gave you a bracelet she made.

"Ready to go home?" Seungcheol asked you.
"Why won't I be?"
"Uhhh. I don't know. Let's go."

He drove silently but happily too. He kept giving glances at you and your ring. He suddenly stopped the car at the side of the road.

"Wae?"
"Before I forget" He reached out for something behind your seat. He showed it to you and it's a small black box.
"What's that?"
"Why not try opening it?"
You took the box as you sighed. "Fine."

You slowly opened the box. It contains a ring and a locket necklace with a picture of you sleeping and him copying your position. You ended up laughing at his exaggerated pose.

"When did you take this?" You asked him.
"Remember when your friend was in Daegu and you were alone so I decided to sleep in her house to accompany you?"
"Ne."
"That's when. Ah!~ You were so cute!~"
"Oh."
"Let me help you." He said taking the necklace.

You turned and faced the car window and let him lock the necklace around your neck. It feels a little cold, but it's just fine.

"Thanks."
"Don't you dare remove that, ok?!"
"Can I remove it when I take a bath?"
"Ofcourse!" He said laughing. "Now, my turn."

He reached out his hand to you smiling. You stared at it confused. You don't know why he extended his hand to you.

"What?"
"Put my ring on me."
"Oh. Right. Sorry." You said giggling at how stupid and slow you are."

You put the ring on his ring finger. He immediately took your hand after and kissed the back. You can't help but still blush. After everything that happened to the two of you, you still feel fireworks in your heart everytime he does things like this.

"Where do you want to get married?" He asked you as he continued to drive again.
"Anywhere."
"When?"
"Anytime. As long as I'm getting married to you." You said smiling.
"Woah!~ Oh my!~ My hearteu...my hearteu is...oh my god!~ My wife is being so sweet right now!~ I can die now!~" He said dramatically putting his hand on his chest.
