4.3: His Voice

You woke up smelling the sweet smell of fresh flowers. It made you smile. You're wearing Wonwoo's sweater now, but it still feels cold. You stumble when you tried to get up, but you still managed to get up unhurt. Your feet are so cold too.

"Jagiya?" You called out not seeing Wonwoo again on the sofa.

He doesn't sleep here often now, but when he does he always prepares dinner for you. Once, he prepared it on the seashore at the nearby beach. Another time, he prepared it in the backyard and even asked you to slowdance with him while he sang to you peacefully. Slowly, you start to feel love for him.

"Jagi?" You called out again.

No one answered you, but you heard some noise coming from the porch. You wanted to go back to the bedroom and change into something longer and thicker, but you're too curious about the noise. You just pulled down the sweater making it reach past your shorts.

"Jagiya?" You called out again as you stepped into the porch.
"Good morning." Wonwoo said before kissing you quickly.

He suddenly appeared from behind you and wrapped an arm around your waist. He led you to a table at the porch.

"Come here." He said smiling at you.
"Wae? What's happening? Where are Jinseok and Areum?" You asked him as he let you sit on a chair.
He sat at the other chair. "Stop thinking about them for now. Right now, it's just the two of us." He said before holding your hands. "I love you, jagiya."

He kissed the backs of your hands. You stared at his hands. You remember those sweater paws. You remember how much you adore those. Maybe your feelings for your husband is starting to go back. Maybe it'll help you remember.

"I love you too." You said making his cheeks turn cherry red.
"Omo. I've waited for so long to hear you say that to me!" He said hugging you.

You think he's crying. You hear him sniff. Your head starts to hurt again. You lightly shook it.

"What do you mean? Don't I say I love you too before?" You asked him.
"U-uhh...Ani. You always say you love me. It's just that you were unconscious for days so I had to wait until now to hear you say that again."
"I see."

He sat back on his chair. He smiled at you happily. You smiled back at him awkwardly. You just feel something wrong.

"Jagi, let's get married again." He said shocking you.
"Mwo?!"
"Let's get married again."

You stared at him. You bit your lips as the pain intensifies. Your head feel like it's cracking open. You hear a voice and it keeps on playing again and again.

I will marry you as many times as I can so you won't be able to escape this idiot.

You hear it. His voice. Who is he? It's not Wonwoo. It's not this man looking at you right now asking you to marry him again. But, you need to be sure.

"Pabo." You said.
"Mwo?!" He sounds a little angry.

He's not that idiot. As funny as it may sound, you need to find that idiot whoever he is. You just feel you need to. You remember that voice, his voice. You remember the happiness. You remember how much you want to do just as he said. You don't remember who he is.
