"Mr. Wonsik it happens very often that the patient looses his memory after such a serious accident. It can either be a short term memory loss or long term. Give him some time. Help him to regain his memory. Every little thing can help him".
"Thank you" Ravi said bowed before the doctor left.
His accident was a few days ago and he still doesn't know about him and Ravi.
The doctor said he can go home in a few days and Ravi tries his best to help Leo to regain his memory.
Ravi already told him their story, how they first met until their difficult situation as newly weds.
Leo does know about it but he couldn't remember. Right now Ravi was scared that Leo might not be able to ever love him or to return his feelings.
"Ravi can I ask you something?"
"Of course".
"You told me that we are married and you also told me that we were in a difficult situation. Can you tell me more about it?".
"It was all my fault. I was too absorbed in work that I didn't care about you and I'm really sorry about it."
'Leo I'm sorry for lying but I can't tell you now.'
"Do you really love me?"
"Of course. I always wanted to marry you since I first saw you. Just everything about you fascinated me. The way you love to cook, the way you speak it's always sp quiet and soft just like a puppy, the way you love animals and kids. Just everything about you."
It was hard for Leo to believe all this. He knew a few things from his past. His time in school, even how he first met Ravi. That is also the reason why his feelings for him still haven't changed. Even if he lost most of his memories he knows that he loves Ravi.
'When the right time comes, I'll tell you Ravi'.
"Ravi I want to go out. The weather is so nice".
"Everything you want" Ravi said and got a wheelchair.
Leo really enjoyed the warm and sunny weather.
He was glad to be alive even if he lost his memories but As long ad Ravi is with him, he can endure everything.
"Ravi I need to tell you something" Leo said as they stopped and Ravi sat on one of the benches.
"What is it Leo?".
"At first I didn't know anything. I only knew my name. I didn't know who you were or what has happened to me. But you told me everything and helped me regain my memories. Thanks to you I can remember my whole time in school. I even remember how we first met. I remember why I always likef you and why I wanted to be a part of your life and until know my feelings for you haven't changed even though I don't know what happened in the last few years but I still love you."
"Are you serious right know?" Ravi asked and Leo simply nodded.
"I've never expected that to happen. I thought you forgot everything about us. I thought you lost all your feelings for me and I thought you wouldn't be able to love me again. But to vear this I'm so glad. You're the most important person in my life Leo and I wouldn't be able to live without you".
Without any other word Ravi leaned in to softly kiss him.
It was a sweet kiss but it was full of emotions and it showed both of them that their love is real.
"I was so scared" Ravi said and caressed his cheek.
"With your help I'm sure I'll remember everything" Leo said and smiled at him.
"I hope that".
"Just think positive. I mean there's nothing to loose. We still have each other and you'll help me, am I right?"
"Of course. Whenever you need my help I'll be there".
That was everything Leo wanted to hear. He took Ravi's hand in his and intertwined them.
They both remained silent and just enjoyed being with each other and that the weather was so nice.
It really was peaceful until Ravi's phone rang. He looked at the display but quickly declined the call as soon as he saw that it was Angelique.
'I'll look after her when he's sleeping'.
"Leo is it okay when I'm sleeping at home tonight?".
He nodded and looked at him smiling.
"In a few days I'll be back" Leo said and Ravi smiled.
"Yes you are".
'Please don't be mad at me when you find out that I lied to you again' Ravi thought and already felt bad.
"Leo I want you to meet someone when you feel better" Ravi suddenly said.
"Who is it? Is it because of my recovery?".
"You'll know as soon as you meet her and no you've never seen her before but I want that you know her, even if it's complicated".
"I don't understand you. Is there anything you need to tell me?"
"It's complicated and I definitely want to tell you but you're not ready for it now but as soon as you're feeling better I'll tell you".
"Ok as long as it's okay for you".
"Come let's go back. I don't want that you catch a cold" Ravi said and they went back to his room.
Ravi helped him to lie down comfortably before he gave him a kiss and went to see his daughter.
He knew that it was finally time for him to tell Angelique. As soon as he arrived there the little girl hugged him and didn't let him go.
"Why haven't you answered my phone calls?" Angelique asked him and she wasn't happy about it.
"We need to talk".
"Ok then let's talk" she said and they sat down on the big table.
"Angelique I already told you that I'm in a relationship and to be honest you came back into my life after our honeymoon. We are married and you still think you can act like my wife but you are not. We only have her that's the only reason why I'm here. In fact I could never like you again because I'm married to the best man alive so don't try anymore. I don't even know how it happened for you to get pregnant. I just want that she has a dad but please stop calling me. We will never get back together."
"What do you mean? You mean you're gay?".
He just nodded and you could see that she was shocked.
"But what is with us? We were in a relationship and it only ended because I moved to another country. I thought you would still love me."
"That was a long time ago Angelique. I moved on and as soon as I met Leo I knew he is the one for me. I'm sorry if you thought I would still love you but it's over. The only person for me is Leo".
"I want that my daughter can grow up with a dad but I don't want that you tell her about your husband until she's old enough".
"Hye is already 5. I think she wouldn't mind about him. Plus Leo loves kids. I'm sure they would get along well".
"I am her mother and I forbid you that you tell her".
"What's wrong with you Angelique? But if you say so okay I won't tell her but I won't visit you as much as I do know."
"Why are you doing this? She's your daughter."
"And Leo is my husband and he had a car accident so I have to take care of him."
"But your daughter needs you too".
"If you allow me to tell her I would take her with me to the hospital but in that case you need to take care of her yourself."
"Are you trying to blackmail me?".
"No Angelique I don't but I already told him that I want him to meet her.I have to go now."
With that he left them and went back to the hospital.
Leo was surprised when he saw that Ravi came back although he told him that he wanted to sleep at home.
"Why are you here? I thought you wanted to sleep at home".
"I missed you too much so I couldn't sleep without you" Ravi replied and sat dow beside him.
"Just wait a few days more and I'll go home with you".
"Of course you will" Ravi said and smiled at him.
"I can't believe that we had problems in our past" Leo suddenly said.
"What do you mean?"
"You told me that we had some problems after our wedding".
"You will soon find out Leo".
"Okay but I don't want it to happen again".
"Leo I promise you that it won't happen again".
