„Can we see him?" Taekwoon asked and looked at the doctor expectantly.
„Only for a few minutes. He's still unconscious because of the operation and we still don't know if he'll make it so we have to observe him constantly" the doctor replied and guided them to the right room.
„The nurses will tell you when visiting hours are over" he said and let them in before he left to look after another patient.
Silently, calm, they entered the room and it was suffocating to see their friend in such a state, bruises all over his bodies and the beeping of the machines in the background.
„I'm sorry for leaving you" Taekwoon whispered and stepped closer, softly taking the younger's hand into his while tears escaped from his eyes.
„I know that it's my fault. That I shouldn't have left you but I was so mad at you. Please you can't just die, don't you dare to leave me alone. I survived so will you".
Hakyeon and Hongbin were just watching them, trying to stay as calm as possible before Hakyeon softly pulled Hongbin into the direction of the door.
„We'll leave you alone for a bit" he said and saw Taekwoon's small nod before they left them alone in the hospital room.
„It's so heartbreaking and unfair. They didn't deserve any of this" Hongbin muttered and looked at the older with a pout, letting out a small yelp when he was being pulled into his embrace.
„I just hope everything will work out for them. I know that it would break Taekwoon's heart and he definitely doesn't deserve this. It were a lot of misunderstandings and unfortunate events happening in such a short time" he replied and gazed out into the already dark sky, not letting go of Hongbin.
„I'm scared" the younger suddenly admitted, successfully catching Hakyeon's attention.
„Of what?" the latter asked, his fingers playing with his soft curls.
„The future. Us. I don't want to lose you and seeing what happened with them I am really scared now. I know that I'm not the best at showing my affection but I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you" the younger confessed, a small smile evident on Hakyeon's lips.
„I know. I'm scared too but whenever I feel scared or don't know what will happen in the future I just try to focus on what I have now and enjoy every moment of it. I love you and even if you're sometimes behaving like a brat I still love you more than anyone else."
„I didn't know that you were ever scared of the future. You always seem so bright and like you would exactly know what happens the next day. I never noticed that you struggled with those kind of thoughts too. Why have you never told me?"
„Because I didn't want to burden you with that. Everyone has such thoughts at a point in their lifes. I knew you were struggling with your own thoughts that's why I never told you."
„Pabo. You should tell me when you're sad or overthinking things. That's what you always tell me so don't just try to overcome these things alone" Hongbin replied and leaned down to press a gentle kiss onto the slightly smaller male's lips.
„I know Binnie. I'm sorry" was his apology before he pressed another kiss to his boyfriend's lips.
„Can't you wait until we're home?" Taekwoon replied, voice broken and eyes read.
„Visiting hours are over?" Hakyeon asked and he only nodded before he started to leave the hospital.
„Can you please drive me home?" Taekwoon asked as they were seated in the car.
„I don't think that's such a good idea hyung" Hongbin said but stopped when he saw his glare in the rearview mirror.
„Hakyeon drive me home please. I need to go back" he mumbled and even if he didn't have a good feeling he obeyed and started driving into the different direction.
„What are you doing?" Hongbin asked the older, not believing what he was doing.
„We can't force him to stay with us Bin. Wouldn't you want to be alone if I would be dying?" he asked and the younger was silent after this, only looking out of the window the whole time.
„Thank you" Taekwoon mumbled when they arrived.
„Promise me to call me if you're not feeling well. I don't have a good feeling just dropping you off but please promise me to not do something stupid".
„Don't worry. It's just been too much and I'll feel better if I can be alone. I just want to sleep and forget about everything for a few hours" Taekwoon replied and got out of the car.
„I'll bring your car back tomorrow" Hakyeon said before the younger closed the door and went into his house.
„Do you think he'll be fine?" Hongbin asked while watching Taekwoon disappear.
„I really hope that he'll be fine. He's right, it's been too much and I just hope he won't give up. Taekwoon's strong but after all of those things happening I'm concerned about him."
„Then why did you just drop him here?"
„Because he'll need his privacy. He needs some time to process all of this and I can only hope that he'll be fine" he mumbled while driving away from the younger's house and heading for their own home.
„I hope you're right" Hongbin mumbled and gazed over at his boyfriend who was obviously lost in thoughts.
„Is everything alright?" the younger asked worriedly as some time passed without anyone saying a word.
„It's been a long day and I'm tired. I only want to go to sleep" Hakyeon replied with a halfhearted smile, reassuring the younger a bit.
„I love you, you know that."
„Yes I know Hongbinnie and I love you too."
And even if after the events of this day the mood wasn't good and there wasn't much place for happiness, Hongbin still felt happy in this moment. He felt complete and alive with Hakyeon by his side and he prayed that this would last for a long time.

I just needed to write some fluff and angst in one and I'm tired but I wanted to publish it. I'm sorry for the lack of Wontaek but I just love Nbin too much.
