12: your true feelings

{Jiyoon's P.o.V}

I headed to the supermarket before I went to the dorm to help Jungkook with his move.

I entered the supermarket and searched for the ice cream. I bought one for everyone and I remembered that day...

Taehyung and I were on a date. We strolled through the park with ice cream. We shared our first kiss there. He told me he loved me. He told me I was the only one he would ever love...

I came back to reality and quickly paid the cashier. I headed to the dorm but I had to pass the park I was just talking about. I quickly passed by since I would've just remember more painful things.

I rang the bell when I arrived the dorm and Seokjin opened up for me.

He told me that everyone expect him, Jungkook and Taehyung were out shopping.

I asked him what I could help with and he pointed to the boxes.

"I have to cook for dinner so I can't help with that. Ah, and only carry the boxes when they're light enough. If you need help, ask Taehyung," Seokjin instructed.

Jungkook came from downstairs.

"I'm going to put these boxes in your room, Jungkook!," I called out to him and lifted the two boxes up. He nodded and talked with Seokjin about something.

I walked up the stairs. The boxes were a bit heavy but it was bearable. I reached Jungkook's room, entered, and saw Taehyung and Seoyeon standing there.

"Hey, Jiyoon," Taehyung greeted me. I just looked at him and then to Seoyeon.

I stared at her for a while and then I just left the room without saying one word, leaving a confused Taehyung and a confused Seoyeon behind.

Why?

Because I have the feeling that Taehyung's growing feelings for Seoyeon.

It's not that I make up storys. He really does like her. I think he's always loved her but didn't realized it. Taehyung always thought of Seoyeon as his younger sister but recently, since Jungkook and Seoyeon were getting closer than before, he looks out to her much more.

Taehyung always talks about her. He always asks me how her training is going. He always asks me if Jungkook and Seoyeon have a special relationship.

Why doesn't he ask her himself?

He even hugged her first when Bang SiHyuk CEO told us the final line-up.

Shouldn't he hug his girlfriend first?

I entered Jimin's, Taehyung's and Hoseok's room which was on the first story. Jungkook was also there. Jimin, Taehyung and Hoseok were out shopping.

I sat down next to Jungkook.

Without realizing it, tears fell. I couldn't control my feelings. My tears just rolled down my cheeks.

"Jiyoon!? What happened!?" Jungkook asked shocked.

I just continued crying. The next moment, I felt arms wrapping around me.

I don't know why I but I felt save in his embrace. It was the feeling of trust.

"You can cry, Jiyoon," Jungkook said. "I'm there for you."

I started crying harder as I held onto Jungkook's shirt which got wet because of my tears. Jungkook stroke my back, trying to comfort me.

The door suddenly opened and Taehyung stood there shocked but his face got emotionless after a few seconds.

Jungkook instantly let go of me.
"Taehyung, it's a misunderstanding," he tried to explain, not realizing that Taehyung doesn't even care enough.

"Shouldn't you hug Seoyeon? I thought you like her?," Taehyung asked, seeming annoyed.

'How is Seoyeon's training going? Did you hear from Seoyeon today? She didn't message me. Do you think something is brothering Seoyeon? Maybe Jungkook and Seoyeon are dating?'

He always talks about Seoyeon. He only cares about Seoyeon. He doesn't care if I hug an other boy. Then why? Why doesn't he date her but me instead?

Jungkook stayed quiet.

I didn't want to watch that any longer. I had to do something myself.

I grabbed Taehyung's arm and dragged him with me. He just followed me. We walked out of the dorm.

"Don't play with me, Taehyung," it came right out of me.

He was confused for a while.

"What do you mean?," he asked, still unsure of what I was saying.

"You like Seoyeon," I immediately came to the point. He opened his mouth to say something but I didn't let him speak out.

"You have to realize it, Taehyung. She's not your little sister anymore. She's more than that to you. You care for her and I bet she does for you too. Why are you trying to deny your own feelings? That will get you nowhere!," I started to raise my voice.

"Jiyoon..."

"Listen, Taehyung. I don't want to be someone you can play with. I know that it wasn't your intention but just think about it. How do you think I feel?," I asked desperate under tears which kept falling.

"Jiyoon. I really lo-..," he stopped talking.

"See? You can't speak out things you don't mean. Just wake up, Taehyung. You don't love me. You like Seoyeon. She's not your little sister. She's more than that and I'm sure you already knew that before I was telling you."

"She's... always been my sister," Taehyung said.

"But not anymore, Taehyung."

We started at each other for a while. It was quiet for a few minutes. The only thing you could hear was me sobbing a little.

"I'm sorry, Jiyoon," he apologized and looked away. "I'm so sorry. I- I should've realize it sooner. I'm sorry for hurting you."

I wiped my tears away and asked him something. I took a deep breath "Taehyung...can I slap you?"

He was shocked at first but then, he nodded. I walked toward him and gave him a big slap across his right cheek which made him grimace.

"Ouch..." he held onto his cheek with his right hand and sighed. "I deserved that. You're strong Jiyoon," he told me.

"One last thing, to make it clear." Taehyung listened carefully. "I dumped you, not the other way around."

He chuckled. "As you wish."

I forced myself to smile. "Now, go to her." Taehyung looked at me, feeling guilty. "It's okay. As you said, I'm strong. I'll be fine," I told him.

He nodded thankfully and went off, probably searching for my best friend Seoyeon...

Tears started to fall again. At least, I've held them in until now. I didn't want Taehyung to feel guilty about something he can't do something about.

You can't control your feelings. Your heart decides who to love.

Hopefully, everything between Seoyeon and Taehyung works out...
