*Alexander*

Normal boring day for a first day of school. Andrew wasn't even there today so I didn't get to see him at break. Everyone avoided me like the plague. The bus was cramped, smelly, and everyone just whispered about me. The lunch Dad packed for me wasn't even like actual food. All it was, was a bottle of water and a spoon. So I'm freaking hungry. I'm just happy my stomach didn't growl during class. I noticed that Dad wasn't home as I walked in the house. SO the first thing I did was place my bag in my room and took off my shoes. Then I walked into Dad and Daddy's room to find Daddy on his computer. "Hi." I said walking in. He looked over at me smiling patting the side of the bed. "How was school?" He asked as I climbed up on the bed. I said, "Okay, I guess. It was boring. Andrew wasn't there today so no one talked to me." "Isn't he two years older than you?" Daddy asked. I nodded and he said, "I'm sorry Dad made you take the bus all by yourself. I'll drive you tomorrow." "Okay, how are you feeling?" I asked.  He smiled saying, "A lot better than before." "Good." I squeaked out as my stomach growled really loud. Daddy chuckled saying, "Hungry are we?" "Very. But I can get myself food." I whispered. Daddy asked, "So what did you have for lunch?" "Water..." I said. He glared at me and asked, "Breakfast?" I just shook my head as he sighed saying, "Alex." "Not my fault. Dad was so stuck on me making the bus this morning that he didn't even question it and then the bagged lunch he gave me just had water and a spoon in it. I didn't even have money on me to buy lunch." I explained. Daddy groaned and laid back down. He said, "I tried to talk some sense into him this morning, but he doesn't want to listen." "Is he pushing me away?" I asked. Daddy said, "I don't know. If he is he probably doesn't realize it. He's been acting this way ever since the one time you had a nightmare when you were two about him." "Because I thought he was scary because in the dream he hurt us. But now he only scares me when he gets mad, dismissive, and like overly protective. Which is him all the time. I try to make it better but it doesn't work!" I cried. Daddy just hugged me until I calmed down. I asked, "Where is Dad?" "Work. He'll be there for another hour." Daddy replied. I nodded kissing Daddy on the cheek and heading to get some food before making my way to Dad's old room and playing his piano. They don't know that I'm learning it. Andrew and my music teacher help. I just like the music. It's soothing.
