When I went back to school on Monday the bullying was ten times worse because everyone found out about my attempt. At least today I'm the one taking the hits and not the new boy. Speaking of which... "Hi, I'm Nickolas." he said. I said, "You have a funny accent." He smiled a crooked smile and said, "I'm from America." "Oh. I'm Alexander Katherine. Most people call me Alex." I said smiling. He showed me his time table and I said, "We have all the same classes." "Cool." He said linking our arms at the elbows. "You sure you want to hang with this girl, kid? She's got two dads and failed at trying to kill herself." an eight grade boy said. Nickolas said, "Even more so now. She shouldn't get bullied at all. Why does it even matter?" then turned to me he said, "I'm going to get you to stop hurting yourself." "Good luck." I shrugged. He goofily replied, "Challenge accepted."
