Vic's POV

I can't believe I let Kellin pick my Halloween costume this year. What the hell was I thinking?

You'd expect my boyfriend would go for something nice and simple: zombies, vampires, hell, even werewolves. Nope. I'm going to be a fucking piece of bread with peanut butter on it and Kellin's going to be a piece of bread with fucking jelly on it.

"I can't believe you're making me do this," I mumble as I grab his hand. We're currently on our way to one of our close friend's Halloween party.

When we get to Austin's door, Kellin confidently raises his fist and knocks lightly. Austin's fiancee, Alan, opens the door wearing a cat costume. He starts laughing the minute he sees us.

"W-what t-the fuck a-are yo-you w-wearing?" He asks in between laughs. I start to chuckle and I point at Kellin.

"I let this one pick out our costumes this year," I say. Kellin frowns. Alan gestures for us to come inside.

"I think it's cute," He says quietly as we walk inside. I kiss his cheek and smile.

"It is babe. I'm just giving you a hard time."

"Quinn, Fuentes, welcome to the party!" Austin says, throwing one arm around my shoulder and his other arm around Kellin's shoulder.

"Where's your costume?" I ask. Austin smirks.

"I'm saving it for later tonight. Only Alan can see," he says, smiling. I didn't need to know that.

"Be safe," Kellin says, winking. He laughs and walks over to where his ginger is. I go over to the table and get drinks for Kellin and I.

"Are you regretting letting Kellin pick your super adorable couples costume yet?" I hear a voice I recognize as my brother's ask me.

"Well...I mean.....I'm a piece of bread, Mike," I say, chuckling.

"I still can't believe you let Tony convince you to be a stormtrooper," I say, gesturing to his costume. He shrugs.

"Love does crazy things to you. I'll see you later, bro," He says. I nod and walk back towards Kellin. I smile and hand him his drink.

"Thank you," He says, smiling. I kiss his cheek.

Suddenly the music stops and the lights turn off. Everything goes silent and a few people gasp. Kellin clings to me, and I wrap my arm protectively around his waist.

"The fuck?!" I hear Austin say. It's pitch black and I can't see anything. I take my phone out and try to turn the flashlight on, but the phone itself won't turn on.

"Okay seriously, whoever turned the lights off turn them the fuck back on. You're not being scary, just a dick," Austin says, getting more irritated by this prankster.

"Guys, let's just go. It'll probably be lighter outside than in here," Someone says. Everyone makes their way to the door, but stops.

"Guys...it's locked," The person by the door says. Who I'm assuming is Austin makes his way to the front door.

"Are we gonna die?" Kellin asks me quietly.

"I really hope not. I don't want to die in a bread costume that has fake peanut butter on it," I say jokingly, trying to light the mood.

"The back door is locked too! The lock won't budge!" Someone yells from the kitchen.

"Princess!? Alan!?" Austin yells. I should've known it was him.

"Guys I think I just stepped on someone!" Someone slurs. Austin pushes past everyone to get to the person.

"Alan, oh my god! Someone call an ambulance!" Austin yells.

"None of our phones work," I say.

"What the hell is happening?!" I hear Mike say. Soon everyone starts whispering and it eventually sounds like a middle school dining hall.

Everyone stops talking when there's a sound of breaking glass. I think nothing of it until I realize it's the sound of my own glass breaking.

"You will be free at exactly midnight. Until then your only task is to survive." The words were coming out of my mouth but I wasn't the one saying them. This voice was much deeper than my own.

"Vic that's not funny!" Kellin exclaims. I want to say something, but whatever had possessed me slapped him instead. He grabs his cheek and I hear him sniffle. Every ounce of my body feels nothing but guilt.

"You're lucky it was just a slap," The voice says. It starts moving my body towards the kitchen. As much as I try to resist, I can't. Whatever this thing is, it has full power over me.

I look at the clock, which seems to be the only thing working, and internally smile when I see there's only 7 more minutes until 12.

Suddenly I have control of my body again, but I immediately pass out.

3rd POV

This party was simply just so Austin and his friends could enjoy Halloween together. No one could've ever known that this was going to happen.

When they wake up the next morning, everyone's there. They all had passed out at exactly midnight.

What no one had realized is they'd been drugged....by a ghost.

A/N I'm sorry for the amount of stupidity and confusion this oneshot has. This is what happens when you want to write a Gay Chat pt. 3 but then you remember that it's fUCkiNG October which = Halloween so you realize you have to write a Halloween oneshot before you can do anything else. Priorities. Anyways, love you guys, don't forget to vote and comment!
