4. Pretender

"HEYYY!!!" Kyle yells, handing Austin and I a drink.

"Who's this pretty little lady?" He asks Austin, pointing to me with his hand that is holding a beer.

"This is my girl Holly." They both smile. WOAH BACK UP. HIS GIRL?! What?! He either means I'm his girl that's his friend or Girlfriend. But he barely knows me!?

"And I guess you already know me!" Kyle says pointing to himself, giving me a seductive look. Kyle is really attractive so it was hard not to blush. I laugh it off and shaking my head 'yes'. Austin and Kyle both drag me by my arms over to meet Andy, Lou, Josh and David. Austin introduces me to them also as "his girl". They turn up the music and Andy grabs me by the arms and makes me dance with him. I couldn't stop laughing at the dance moves he was doing. Andy spins me like a ballerina and I lose my balance and go flying into someone's arms; the arms belonged to Austin. He starts to laugh and I pull out of his grip and fix my hair.

"Oh my gosh that's so embarrassing." I say with red burnt to my cheeks. Austin and I walk away and I remember how he called me "his girl". I need to see what that is all about. I pull him aside by his arm. "So I'm your girl?" I question.

"Oh shit I guess you kind of noticed. I haven't asked you yet!" He says scratching at the back of his neck. I cock and eyebrow at him not sure what he meant.

"Yet?" I'm so confused. Austin tucks a strand of hair behind my ear making me smile. No one has ever done that to me before. I've seen it in movies and it is absolutely precious and when it happens to you it is an unbelievable feeling.

"Holly, I know I just met you today, we barely know each other but I really want to get to know you better. I also feel like I've known you forever. Its creepy kinda." He laughs awkwardly. "It's never been like that with any other girl I've met and it intrigues me. I don't want to let you go." I stand there full of shock. Is he trying to asking me out?

"Holly, will you be my girlfriend?" He asks shyly, playing with the ends of my long brown hair. Woop there it is!

"Austin, are you sure?" Was he being serious? He wants to date me? I-I don't understand. Why me? I'm just any other girl that is obsessed with bands and works at shitty Starbucks.

"Positive." He says with so much confidence. After a few seconds of thinking, I reply to him.

"Yeah Austin, I will be your girlfriend." I say and a smile plasters to our faces. He pulls me into a hug and I hold on to him tightly, not wanting to let go. I wonder how this will go.

"Hey! I want a hug!" A drunk Alan yells stumbling a little toward me and I laugh. Austin lets go of me letting me wrap my arms around Alan's neck. I let go of Alan quickly and Alan runs over to Lou for him to give him a piggie back ride. Austin points over to Oli and Jordan and walks over to them. I'll give him some space. I decide to walk over and talk to Hannah who was sitting over at the circle of lawn chairs.

"Hey." I say bashfully sitting next to her.

"Hello." She says with a big smile on her face, her British accent prominent.

"Have you ever stayed after and partied?" She asks me.

"Nope! This is my first. You use to it?"

"Yeah. Especially when we tour with Ptv. They are some crazy Mexicans let me tell you." We both laugh and I take a drink of my wine cooler, Hannah just looks at me.

"I'm drinking light tonight, don't want to have a major headache tomorrow." Hannah smiles.

"I either drink light or not at all. I let Oli be the drunken idiot."

"You guys have an amazing relationship."

"Thank you dear!" She smiles down at the ground. "I wouldn't ask for anyone else, he's my other half." I smile and give a light laugh. "So what's going on with you and Austin?"A smile appears on my face. Shit she saw! Guess I have to tell her I think to myself. I'm not embarrassed, I'm just not good with these situations. It sucks to be socially awkward.

"Oh, well I just met him today at the signing. He asked me to spend the day with him so I did. Then he said he wants to get to know me better and asked me to be his girlfriend."

"What did you say?! You're a very special girl!" Hannah says jumping up and down in her chair.

"I said yes." I reply after taking a swig from my drink. She smiles and that makes my smile grow even bigger, if even possible.

"I'll be seeing a lot of you then! Woo! Now I won't be the only girl! Sweet!"

"Oh definitely!" She pulls me into a short hug.

"What's your number?" She hands me her phone and I put my number in. I hand her phone back.

"Here comes your man, I'll text you later." She says, wiggling her eyebrows at me then walks up behind Oli and covers his eyes. He quickly turns around and kisses her, they are so cute.

"Hey." Austin says as I stand up; he still sounds sober.

"Hey." I say with a blush rising to my cheeks. That's all I've been able to do today, blush and smile like an idiot. How can he find me attractive?

"I'm going back to the bus, do you want to come with me or stay with these drunken idiots?" He asks laughing and playing with the ends of the crewneck sleeves that were a little long on me. I look over to Abbey and her and Alan are drunkenly making out; gross. Then I see Hannah and Oli making funny faces at each other. And everyone else was dancing to cha cha slide, yeah I'm not being stuck with them.

"I'll come with you!" This way, Austin and I could have some alone time. He places my small hand in his large one and we walk to the bus. It wasn't that far away, maybe 30 feet away.
