6. Make Them Believe

I wake up to one of the phones ringing. We both groan and I peel open one of my eyes to see it was Mandi calling me. I forgot to tell her I wasn't coming home last night, I'm going to get an ear full.

"Hello?" I ask in a sleepy voice.

"Where the fuck are you! You were suppose to be back last night! I'm freaking out! Are you okay?"

"Haha yeah I'm good. I stayed with Austin last night."

"Wait wait wait, what?! Austin? Who? wait, you went to the concert. Austin.. Austin.. Carlile?!" Oh shit. God she's going to freak out.

"Uhm. Yeah."

"OMFG OKAY. TELL ME ABOUT IT WHEN YOU GET BACK."

"Oh don't worry I will." I say with a tired laugh rubbing my face with my free hand.

"Okay love you bae! See you soon!"

"Love you too bae, Cya!" We hang up and I lock my phone and let it fall out of my hand. Mandi is my best friend. It's not even weird we have cute names for each other.

"Bae?"Austin questions with one of his eye brows cocked.

"My best friend Mandi. We call each other bae. We always do that."

"Ohh okay. I was a little worried." I can tell Austin was relieved, he wasn't as tense now.

"Don't! You're the only guy I want!" He kisses my temple and hops out of the bunk. I give myself a few seconds under the warm blanket before I follow him out to the table.

"You're such a fucking user!" Abbey says before she slaps me across the face. She can't slap that hard but it stung just a little. I was a little taken back. User? The fucks that about?

"What the fuck are you talking about?!" I say standing up and getting in her face. I'm shorter then her but I managed to get right up in her face. I have a short temper, usually I don't lose my temper but when you hit me shit hits the fan, and Abbey knows that.

"I bought us those fucking meet and greets. You know how much I love Austin! But you get to spend the fucking day with him? That's bullshit! And now you guys are dating? You don't even fucking know him. You're so fucking selfish!" My insides burned with rage. I calmly answer her.

"Find your own way back to the apartment, get all your stuff and get out. I'll give Mandi a heads up that you're coming to get your stuff." Abbey's eyes filled with concern.

"Hol-Holly I'm so sorry, I didn't mean it."

"Yeah well you should have thought about that before you slapped me, flipped out on me and insulted me. If I'm going to be treated like this for being in a relationship then I don't want you living in my apartment. Also, I'm tired of being treated like shit! You're nothing but rude to me. I've had enough, you had 2 chances and you blew them both." With that she storms off the bus and Alan follows her.

"Are you okay?" Austin asks putting his hand to my face where she slapped me.

"Yeah. It's just bullshit. I won't be treated like a doormat. I know she loves you but you asked me to hang out with you, not her. I'm not trying to be selfish either, I mean I would have loved to spend time with Alan or one of the other guys. She was a terrible friend to me anyway and it was about time something happened."

"I'm sorry Holly." Austin pulls me into a hug.

"Just don't worry about it okay? We are going to spend our last few hours together and it will be great." I smile and kiss his cheek. Alan walks into the bus with a look of relief.
