Holly's POV:

I lay with Austin in the hospital bed, savoring his warmth. I never knew what it was like to need someone in your life this bad. I don't want him in my life, I legitimately need him in it. Not much has been spoken between us, it's a comfortable silence though and I'm enjoying it. Jeanette even came in to check up on me and didn't yell at Austin for being on the bed with me. She just gave us a gentle smile.

"I was in love once, I know how you feel about each other. I lost my husband when he was serving our country, he's always with my son and I though, I still love him, he was my one and only." She says. I feel my heart break for her, she's such a strong woman. With that she leaves the room. No other nurses checked on me but her, I'm glad for that.

"So the police have custody of Maddie and Gielle, they are going to find the other person who helped so Maddie is going to probably rat him out. They don't need any evidence, they found both houses and Maddie told them everything. We have just one court date to go to, since They both pleaded guilty, it's going to go by fast." Austin's words bring a smile to my face. I could care less about them and their fate, I'm just happy to be alive and be back with Austin.

"Good, but I could care less about that right now." I say trailing my fingertips over the shirt on his chest. I wish that could come off, but I have to behave myself since I'm in the hospital. Austin gives me a glance, he knows what I want. Then he shakes his head no, laughing lightly at me and leans in to kiss me.

"Wait until you're better." He whispers against my lips and pushes a strand of hair behind my ear. "I don't want you to be in anymore pain." He says.

"But when I'm better you're going to make up for lost time right?" I ask with a smirk.

"Anything you want darling." He says with a smile before he starts kissing all my bruises, from my head to my toes he kisses me all over, making me flush red and start to silently cry. He even lifts up my shirt to kiss my ribs, he's seriously too sweet. How can anyone on this earth be as compassionate as this man, and how the hell did I get so lucky to call him mine? I'm as red as a tomato by the time he finishes kissing me. He swipes his thumbs across my face, catching the cascading tears.

"How are you so perfect?" I ask with a light laugh, while he still wipes the tears away.

"I'm not perfect, I'm anything but. I'm a goof, I make mistakes, I do wrong. Therefore I am not perfect, but imperfect." Okay smart alec, way to be technical.

"You're perfectly imperfect to me." I say before leaning in to give him a passionate kiss. I rest my head against his chest and feel my eyes become too heavy to keep them open.

"Sweet dreams." He says and kisses my forehead and that's the last thing I hear.

Austin's POV:

Holly snores lightly as her head rests on my chest. As creepy as it sounds, I like watching her sleep, she's so adorable. She makes me feel things I've never felt before with any of my exes. I take the time to text Alan and a few of the other guys back. They have been worried sick about Holly. I post a few of our goofy pictures from earlier to my Instagram, so even the fans knew she was okay. Of course she is still getting hate after her ordeal, but there's a lot of them that have stopped and apologized.

"Knock, knock." Jeanette says, walking into the room. I give her a friendly smile. "Not to be a buzzkill but you'll have to leave while she sleeps. Shitty rule I know, but I'll come get you when she wakes up." I'm kind of mad I can't stay with her but she is only doing her job. I leave one lass kiss on her forehead before trying to untangle our woven limbs. She shifts in her sleep to get more comfortable. I could watch her forever, but it's short lived when she escorts me out of her room. "I know you already filled out paper work for her, but this is all the medication she will need to be on for the time being. Then when we check up on her and she's good to go then you can sign her release forms."
