CLARKE:

Octavia slipps away and we just have to wait. Murphy's sitting up against one wall, with Bellamy sitting against the adjacent one. I'm still walking around.

"What happens when the guard wakes up?" I ask aloud. "He'll know what happened."

"I'm sure Octavia attacked from behind, and since his prisoners aren't gone, he'll think the mission was unsuccessful. That way he won't talk about it. A Grounder wouldn't want to admit he's been knocked down," Bellamy replies.

"I hope you're right," I say, pushing my hair out of my face.

"He's always right, isn't he?" Murphy mocks in a sweet tone.

"We need to talk about Murphy," Bellamy says, ignoring him.

"I'm right here," Murphy says.

"You know what, I think you're right, Bellamy," I say smiling. I turn to Murphy. "You were banished."

"Yeah, I know. That's kind of how I ended up here," he tells us.

"That doesn't mean you get to automatically come back with us. You're dangerous."

He laughs. "I'm over that, Clarke. Change of enviroment, you go a little crazy. It happens."

"We set up laws," Bellamy starts. "Once you step foot back in camp, we'll be able to try you for your crimes, and then punish you."

"So my life is put in the hands of Judge Bellamy," Murphy says. "Just float me now."

"We don't float people unless they kill another one of us with malicious intent," I say. "You technically didn't kill Charlotte. You'll be tried for abuse and attempted kidnap."

"Sounds like fun," Murphy says, clasping his hands together.

"This is serious, Murphy," Bellamy says, shoving one of his shoulders. "You hurt any of us ever again-"

"I know, I know, you and little judicial system will get me, I got it," Murphy says, putting his hands up.

"Murphy-" Bellamy starts, but his voice is overtaken by one from above.

"Up against the walls, hands up!"

We all look up to see a Grounder towering above our only source of light. "Do what I said!" she yells.

We all back up so we're each on a different wall. The Grounder lifts the barred door, and sets it aside. Then she jumps in to the center of the room, landing perfectly, followed by two guards.

She's facing me. "Clarke of the Sky People," she says, smirking slightly. She looks around to Murphy and Bellamy, on the walls to my left and right, respectively. "I heard we had a little break-in."

"Break-in?" I ask as she makes eye contact with me.

"Octavia came for a visit." She turns towards Bellamy. "Your sister, right?"

Bellamy looks like he wants to strangle her.

"I don't know what you're talking about," I say to the Grounder.

"I don't care if you pretend. All that matters is that you don't escape. So we're not questioning you tomorrow. We're questioning you today." Then she turns to her guards and says something in their language. They both grab Bellamy.

"Don't hurt him!" I say, running to the guards, trying to get them to release their grip.

"Clarke, it's okay," the Grounder says from behind me. "They won't hurt him as long as you tell me what I want to know."

The guards hold Bellamy, but it doesn't look like they were hurting him. His face tells me that it's okay.

"Who are you?" I asks, turning to face the Grounder. "And what do you want?"

"I'm Anya," the Grounder replies. "And I want answers."

I hope you guys are liking the story! I love writing Murphy so much. He won't play a major role in the story or anything, and soon the chapters will be more Bellarke-y again. Please vote if you liked this! Thanks!
