"It's your turn, so hurry up already," Soraru said impatiently."Hold on, I'm still thinking," MafuMafu responded with a slight pout.
MafuMafu studied the cards in front of him carefully, analyzing each one for what would be the perfect move. After a few more seconds, he tentatively chose one and set it on top of the pile in between him and Soraru. Soraru smirked slightly, as if this was the exact thing he was hoping for, and set his own card down without a moment's hesitation. It was a skip.
"Really? There's only two of us playing, what's the point of skipping me?" MafuMafu whined, annoyed that this sort of thing happened so often.
"It's just strategy. If you want to win for once, you should learn it," Soraru replied matter-of-factly as he set another card down on the pile.
"Whatever," MafuMafu muttered under his breath.
He went back to studying his cards, looking for anything that could turn the game in his favor. Numbers and colors, cards with abilities, nothing stood out as particularly "game changing" right now, but maybe if he...
"Hey, why don't we make this interesting?" Soraru started suddenly, drawing MafuMafu's attention away from the cards in his hands.
"Interesting?" MafuMafu echoed curiously.
"Yeah, why don't we make it so that the loser of this game has to do whatever the winner wants for a whole day? Sound fun?" Soraru suggested.
MafuMafu paused for a moment to think about this, before he slowly nodded. "Okay, sure."
Soraru smirked again, obviously pleased with this response. "Great. So, hurry up and take your turn so I can beat you."
MafuMafu huffed in irritation and placed his next card down. I won't lose to you, Soraru-san, MafuMafu thought with determination. Soraru hesitated a bit after seeing the card MafuMafu chose, causing the white-haired male to inwardly smirk.
"It's your turn now, so please take your time," MafuMafu taunted with a bright smile.
Soraru looked up from his cards to send MafuMafu a cool glare. "Shut up, I'm still thinking."
MafuMafu simply continued smiling as he watched Soraru pick one of the cards in his hand. From the looks of it, the confidence he had merely seconds ago was starting to waver. Maybe he was feeling the pressure of the stakes at hand already. Though, in an instant, that wavering confidence was restored once Soraru set the card down and sat back in his seat.
"A draw two?" MafuMafu pouted while picking up two cards from a separate pile off to the side.
"I'm telling you, I'm not going to let you win," Soraru stated. He paused for a moment, looking thoughtful. "Hmm, I wonder what I should make you do..."
"Stop being perverted and pay attention to the game," MafuMafu said flatly, setting down his card to end his turn.
"Who said I was being perverted?!" Soraru exclaimed incredulously.
"Knowing you, you'll make me do some really questionable stuff if you win..." MafuMafu muttered.
Soraru sighed in exasperation, taking his turn to put down a card of his own. "It's not like you ever complain about it. Honestly, that makes you the real pervert here."
"E-Eh? How am I supposed to complain when it's... w-well, you know... that kind of thing?" MafuMafu mumbled as his face heated up slightly.
