A certain dark-haired male sat in his chair, mindlessly drawing in the sketchbook in front of him. Some of his peers were doing the same, while others were quietly talking amongst themselves. For the most part, the room was relatively silent. It was always like this during drawing time. It helped everyone focus.

"Hey, Soraru-kun," a brunette by the name of Amatsuki nudged the dark-haired male.

Soraru sent him a pointed look. "What?"

"Can I borrow your eraser? I left mine at home," Amatsuki asked.

Soraru sighed, but handed the brunette his eraser anyway. Amatsuki thanked him and went back to working on whatever it was he was drawing. This was probably the fifth time this month that Amatsuki had forgotten to bring something to class. Soraru was going to stop lending him his things if this kept up. They weren't even particularly good friends, so there was really no reason for him to keep compensating for Amatsuki's forgetfulness. Soraru shook his head, deciding to drop that thought for now, and turned back to his sketchbook. He barely even lifted his pencil when a sudden crash resounded from the hallway outside.

The whole class went silent, looking at each other with the same confused expressions. A few people started mumbling about what the crash could've been, but no one really showed any real concern. They were all fairly sure what had caused the crash. Amatsuki glanced over at Soraru, who by now couldn't look any more annoyed. The brunette chuckled at his friend's expression.

"Gonna go clean up the mess?" Amatsuki asked.

Soraru shot him another pointed look as he stood up. "Shut up. I'll be right back."

The mumbling got louder as Soraru made his way over to the door. Stupid gossiping highschoolers. They never let times like these go. Soraru walked out into the hallway and looked around a bit. Within seconds, his gaze landed on a small white-haired figure on the ground beside a knocked over easel. The albino was too busy scrambling to pick up the easel to notice Soraru's presence.

"What happened this time?" Soraru questioned flatly.

The albino froze and slowly looked up at him with large red eyes. "O-Oh, hi, Soraru-san. Nice day, huh?"

Soraru sighed, sounding more tired than anything. "Cut it out, MafuMafu. Just tell me what you did."

"I didn't do anything! Luz-kun was chasing me around with this dead bug he found and I accidentally ran into the easel!" MafuMafu explained.

"He chased you around with a dead bug?" Soraru raised an eyebrow at him.

MafuMafu nodded. "Uh-huh! It was really mean and scary!"

Soraru almost felt like laughing. MafuMafu ran into an easel just because his friend chased him with a dead bug? What kind of person did that?

"You're ridiculous," Soraru shook his head with a small smile. He then held out a hand to the albino. "Here, I'll help you up."

MafuMafu accepted the offered hand, and Soraru pulled him to his feet.

"Thanks... I didn't break it, right?" MafuMafu asked while looking down at the easel. He seemed embarrassed about all of this.

"It should be okay. They're harder to break than you think," Soraru answered.

"Must be because it's used a lot, huh?" MafuMafu smiled slightly.

Soraru gave a thoughtful hum. "Hmm, maybe." He paused for a moment, then added, "Don't you have to get back to class? Isn't there some play or something you need to practice?"
