"Alright, does everyone understand the plan?"

"Not really... You haven't explained anything yet."

      "Eh? Didn't you check LINE?"

"We don't follow you on LINE."

      "Eh?!"

Amatsuki looked incredulously at the group gathered before him. A combination of sheepishness and just plain boredom looked back at him from around the table, where the five of them were seated. Amatsuki let out a sigh and leaned back in his chair.

"Unbelievable... Am I the only one who gets things done around here?" Amatsuki shook his head, as if somehow disappointed with the rest of them.

"What exactly are we trying to get done anyway?" Luz asked as he rested his chin on his hand.

Amatsuki blinked in surprise. "You mean you came all the way here without even knowing why?"

Luz merely shrugged breezily. Amatsuki sighed again, feeling just a little exasperated.

"Seriously, what's with you guys? Don't you know that tomorrow is Mafu-kun's birthday?" Amatsuki questioned.

At this, everyone went completely silent and their eyes widened in realization.

"Oh god, is that really tomorrow?" Sakata asked.

  Amatsuki nodded. "Yep, it's tomorrow."

"I feel terrible now... I can't believe I forgot something like that," Urata muttered with a slight frown.

"I mean, we've all been pretty busy lately, so we haven't had time to think about anything but work," Luz pointed out.

"Still..." Urata mumbled. He then turned his gaze to the blue-haired male seated beside him. "Did you forget too, Soraru-kun?"

Soraru didn't say anything, he just avoided everyone's gazes and frowned. The expression on his face was a mixture of sheepishness and guilt, meaning he obviously hadn't remembered either. It wasn't like he had an excuse like the others, though. Work had been relatively easy for him recently, so he had plenty of time to keep track of things like this. Heck, whenever he was working, it was always with MafuMafu, whether that be through a Skype call or just simply emailing. There really wasn't any reason why he should've forgotten something as important as MafuMafu's birthday.

"Alright, so now that everyone's aware of what's going on, let's get down to business," Amatsuki said matter-of-factly. He paused for a moment, making sure he had everyone's attention, before continuing. "We're going to throw a surprise party for Mafu-kun."

"But doesn't MafuMafu-kun not like surprises?" Sakata asked.

Amatsuki hummed thoughtfully. "Most of the time, yeah, but he likes good surprises. Besides, if it's from all of us, there's no way he won't be happy."

"But how are we going to get him to the party without making him suspicious?" Urata inquired.

"Oh, I've already thought about that," Amatsuki replied simply. He smirked slightly as he turned his gaze to Soraru. "Soraru-kun, you're in charge of keeping Mafu-kun busy while we set up."

      "Huh? Why me?" Soraru asked.

"Because you hang out with Mafu-kun the most out of all of us, so it's not weird for you to invite him out all of a sudden. Plus, since the party will be at your house, he won't think anything of it for you to bring him home with you," Amatsuki explained.
