After I finish packing I sit on the couch for a while.
Marie is going to give me a ride to the Airport as soon as she gets home from work.
Marie's POV:
Meredith is leaving today and I'm going to really miss her.
I hope Kian found a way to somehow stop her .
I send him a text:
"Hey Kian. Did you talk to Meredith?" -Marie.
"Yeah. She's leaving for sure." -Kian.
"Oh. Sorry." -Marie.
"Yeah. What time does her plane leave?" -Kian.
"Like at 12:00. Why?" -Marie.
"Just wondering." -Kian
Kian's POV:
Marie said Meredith's plane was leaving at 12:00. It's 11:00 right now.
I don't want Meredith to leave and I'm going to try to make her miss her plane.
I get in my car and start driving to the airport. It takes 30 minutes to get there.
I hope I'm not going to be too late.
When I get on the freeway there is so much traffic.
"Fuck." I say to myself.
I begin to beep but that's not gonna help.
I look at the clock and it's 11:55.
There's no way I'm going to get there in time.
I text Marie:
"Has Meredith left yet?" -Kian.
"Yeah just now ;(. I tried to talk to her but she wasn't convinced." -Marie.
"Shit." I say and begin to cry a little.
I throw my phone out the window. It was a bad idea but fuck it.
The traffic lasted another 30 minutes until I found an exit and headed home.
I got home and punched the wall.
"Kian? What's wrong?" Connor asks.
"Meredith left. She's gone."
I sit on the couch and put my hands over my face.
Meredith's POV:
"Bye Marie." I give a hug to Marie trying not to cry.
"Please don't go. Kian really likes you and we could hang out like we always did."
"I'm sorry but I have to go."
I head to my plane waving one last time to Marie.
On The Plane:
I sit on my seat and looked out the window. The view was amazing.
A boy say next to me but I didn't say anything.
I couldn't really see his face until he pulled his hoodie off.
It was Josh. The kid I met some months ago in California.
"Meredith?" He asks looking at me.
"Yeah. Hi."
We both smile at each other.
He gets out a "vlogging" camera and begins to record.
"Hey guys! So I'm on the plane now and look who I found."
He points the camera at me and I smile and say "Hi."
Josh and I made a video like 2 months ago about girls vs. guys on getting ready .
"Who remembers her? If you do leave it in the comments." He says to the camera.
"Okay. I'll Vlog later."
He puts the camera away.
"So what you've been up to?" I ask.
"Nothing just filming and uploading filming and uploading."
We both laugh.
"Are you still going out with Kian?"
My heart breaks hearing his name.
"No. We broke up and I'm leaving now and probably not going to come back."
"What?! You have to come back! Lets make videos like the old times." He says.
"I would love to but I'm going to New York City and begin a new life there."
"New York? That's all the way across the country from California!"
"Anyways, why are you going to Florida? " I immediately say changing the subject.
"Just to do some filming with some friends."
"So that's what you do for living ?"
"Yeah. I like it. Wouldn't you?" He asks.
Kian and I were going to make a YouTube account when we were going out but that never happened.
When we land in Florida I try to look for my mom's mini van.
"Can we stay in touch?" Josh asks.
"Yeah."
He gives me his number and gives me a small hug.
"It was nice seeing you again." He says.
"Nice seeing you too. Bye."
