Chapter 19:Passports To Florida

Kian's POV:

I called Meredith's mom and asked her if I could talk to her but she went to a meet up?

Has she made a Youtube channel and is already famous?

I'm going to go to Florida and find her.

Marie might know where she lives.

I get my keys and drive to Marie's house.

"Hey Kian." She says as I she opens the door.

"Hey. Can I come in?

"Yeah of course."

We both sit on her couch.

"This might sound a little creepy but do you know where Meredith's house is in Florida?"

"It has been a while...."

She thinks for a moment and gives me her address.

I write it down on a piece of paper.

"Are you gonna go find her?" She asks me.

"Yeah. I don't know something is telling me we were meant to be."

"When are you leaving?"

"As soon as I can." I say.

"Do you think... Maybe.... I could come? "

She smiles at me.

"Yeah that would be great."

"Awesome!" She says.

We say goodbye to each other and I go home.

Meredith's POV:

I waited outside my house for Jc to come and talk to me.

"Hey babe." He says as he gets out if his car and tries to lean in for a kiss but I push him back.

"Wow. Jc. "Babe"? Are you serious?"

He scratches the back of his neck.

"I thought you liked me. You did kiss me yesterday."

I think for a moment trying to find out what to say to Jc.

"Look. You kind of forced me to kiss you. I'm still not over Kian and if I were, I'm not gonna date his bestfriend." I say.

"I really like you Meredith. All my fans think were dating."

"I'm sorry but you are just going to have to find a way to tell them were not dating. Or you don't even have to tell them, just let them forget I was even at that meet up with you."

"What if Kian gets over you? I'm coming back to Florida in a couple of weeks and I can ask you to be my girlfriend again?" He says smiling at me.

"Sure. You can try." I lie.

I really miss Kian so I just might get back with him and Jc and I are never going to date.

"I'll see you in a couple of weeks. Babe.." Jc says giving a goodbye hug.

"Yeah... Sure..." I say smiling.

Kian's POV:

Marie and I go online to get some passports to Florida.

We try to find the ones that leave as soon as possible.

The only one we can find is in 2 weeks.

"I don't if I can wait that long." I say to Marie.

"Be patient. It's not like Meredith is going to get a new boyfriend or something in two weeks."

We both laugh.

"Thanks for helping me Marie. You are really a great friend. I wish I could've helped you with Sam."

"It's fine I'm over that kid."

She smiles at me and we say goodbye to each other.

As I drive home I remember Jc went to Florida for a meet up. I hope he didn't see Meredith.

When I get home I see Jc unpacking in his room.

"Hey Kian guess what?" He says as I walk by.

"What?"

"I saw Meredith and she doesn't look like she misses anybody. She even went to the meet up with me."

I don't say anything because I know it's a lie (except that she went to a meet up) and Jc wants her all to himself.

"Fuck yourself." I whisper silently.
