Chapter 9: Flirt

The three days in Hollywood were fine.

Nothing interesting. I just went to my classes and I'm doing good . I really like my teacher ( Mrs. Marquez) she's so fun and outgoing.

"Hey babe." Kian says as I open the door.

When I sit down he gives me a kiss.

"I missed you." He says.

"And I missed you too."

"How were your classes?" He asks as he begins to drive.

I tell him all about Hollywood and Deena and my teacher.

"Well it seems like you had a great time." He says smiling at me.

"I really did. But it would've been better with you ."

He smiles.

"Sorry babe but today I have to go film a video with AwesomenessTv." Kian says when we get home.

"It's fine. Have fun babe I'll be here."

I couldn't sleep to good at Deena's . I don't know it was different so I go to my room and sleep.

After a little nap I head downstairs for a glass of water.

I was really uncomfortable in the clothes I was wearing so I go back up to my room and put on my plain gray crop top and my sweat pants.

I head back down stairs AGAIN and turn on the tv in the living room.

"Where is everybody at?" I say to myself noticing no one is home.

I go knock on Kian's door and check if he's home yet .

Nope.

I knock on Jc's door and he opens.

"Hey Meredith." He says kind of lazy because he was sleeping.

Those abs..... What am I thinking?! I'm dating Kian I can't just check out his bestfriend.

"Hey. Do you know where everybody is at?" I say trying to not look at his shirtless body.

"Yeah they all went to film a video with AwesomenessTv."

"Oh okay. You weren't invited?"

"I was but I was too lazy." He says and we both giggle.

"Well I'm gonna be in my room if you need me." I say .

"Alright . And I'll be here if you need me ." He says and I head to my room.

I head upstairs and watch Our2ndLife videos on Youtube. I had nothing to do and I was bored as hell.

"Meredith?" I hear Jc say knocking on my door.

"Yeah?" I say and open the door.

"Are you bored?"

"Fuck yeah ."

"Well do you wanna go somewhere ? The mall or something ?" He says blushing.

Jc is so sweet (like a friend)

I can tell he cares for others and just not himself.

"Sure just let me get ready."

"Alright I'll be downstairs."

I go to my closet and get a black crop top with white daisies on it , my jean skater skirt, my white converse, and my white bow from American Apparel.

"I'm ready ." I say and walk down the stairs.

I see Jc looking at me and smiling.

"What's so funny ?" I say smiling when I get down.

"Nothing you look great."

I didn't want Jc flirting with me but he's already doing it. The only choice I have is to not flirt back.

"Thanks." I say and we head out the door .

When we get to the mall we just walk around .

He talks a little bit about Youtube and how he started.

"Do you wanna get Starbucks?" He says after we stop talking.

"Yeah. I'll pay for mine I have money."

"No it's fine I can pay."

I think Jc was thinking this was some kind of date. It's just a hangout . He was paying for me, he opens all the doors for me.

Maybe he was just a gentlemen like that? Or is he trying to get at me?

"What would you like?" Jc asks me.

"Umm... A caramel frappe."

He pays and we head home.

When we get inside the house Jc stands there face to face with me and kisses me unexpectedly.

I then find myself kissing back and grinding a little bit, moving with his body.

He pushes me to the wall and we kiss some more.

I finally have the chance to push him away from me.

"Jc! What the hell was that?!" I say angry at myself and at him.

"I have a boyfriend ! And it's your best friend Kian!"

As I say that we hear a car door close.

"What's wrong? I heard the screaming from outside." Kian says coming in the door.

Jc and I stare at each other .

"I saw a spider and it scared me really bad." I lie.

"Oh okay you scared me a little bit. " he says and gives me a kiss.

I don't kiss back much because it feels wrong.
