Chapter2: More Than Crying

When Marie got home she told me a little bit about Sam.

"It was love at first sight !" She blushes just thinking about him. "I can even watch him every Wednesday on a Youtube channel he made with his friends !" She screams.

"A Youtube channel?" I ask. I've always been wanting to make a Youtube channel but back in Florida where I lived I was always busy and never had the chance.

"Enough about that! What's been going on in your life?" She says interrupting my thinking.

"Well... Not anything interesting !"

"C'mon Meredith ! I haven't talked to you in forever! Friends ? Oh! And what about your dad?" As soon as I heard her say "dad" my mind went crazy.

I don't know if I ever will love my dad again. When I was younger he would always leave the house twice a week. He would always tell my mom his "work" is "busy". My mom and I always believed him until a couple of years ago we found out he wasn't working but he was raising another family. I don't know where he is now.

"Meredith? God I'm so sorry I mentioned him." Marie says hugging me. I start crying. Like not just crying , it was sobbing. All these years I've been holding it in until now.

"I'm so sorry. I've never cried this much!" I say wiping my tears away and giggling a bit. "Cry all you want. Meredith just know I'll always be there for you if you need to talk." Marie says smiling at me.

"So how about friends?"

"Yeah two of my bestfriends are called Emily and Marcus. Which reminds me I have to call them and let them know I made it safe!" I pull out my iPhone and give them a call.
