After a while, we became friends even though I wanted more.
You used to always come to the bookstore after coming back from school and help me wipe the dust,
organize the books and sweep the floor.
I didn't want you to help me, but you kept insisting.
You would always say,'I'm helping you so you can close up early.'
After closing up, we would go up to the rooftop. I would go make us food in my small room while you would put a blanket on the ground, then lay down looking at the stars.

If it was cold, we would stay in my
room. You would stay with me despite the cold.
I loved having you around, but I hated seeing you cold.
I would bring all the blankets I had and cover you.
'What about you?' You asked me. 'I'm ok. I'm used to it.'
You grabbed my hand and pulled me closer. You removed half of
the blankets and covered me
with the other half so you would be able to hug me.
'Soo Yun-' you cut me off by saying,'You're warm.'
I hugged you back as my chin was placed over your head.

I vividly remember thinking to myself,'You're the one.'
I love you.
