A new child (Enoch X Reader)

Chapter 3

Carmen's P.O.V

I wake up by someone shaking me really hard, my eyes burst open and I see Olive "what are you doing" I ask as she keeps shaking me "today's your date with Enoch" she says as she stops shaking me. I sit up and see that all the girls are in my room "it's not a date" I reply blushing a bit "sure it isn't" Emma replies as she's going through my stuff. I get up and I feel Clair tugging at me arm, I kneel down to her level so we can talk "we are going to make you look really pretty for Enoch" she says smiling. I stand up and Emma throws a dress at me, I look at it and it's a nice white dress. I put it on and look in the mirror, I look really pretty, then Olive sits me down in a chair " what are you doing" I ask confused again "we are going to do your hair and makeup" she replies smiling "I wanna do something" I hear Fiona and Clair say "well why dont you go get Carmen a really pretty flower so we can put it in her hair" Emma says to them.

A couple of minutes later there finally finished and I look really pretty with a flower in my hair, a daisy. I get up and tell them that I'm going to Enoch's room, I walk up to it and nock on the door. He tells me to come in and I do, when I walk in there I see that Enoch hasn't seen me yet, he was working on another one of his dolls. I clear my throat and he looks up and just stares at me "what is something wrong, do I look that bad" I say looking down, Enoch quickly runs up to me and lifts my face "no darling you look stunning as always" he says looking at my eyes. I blush "did you just call me Darling" I say smiling at him, his face suddenly turn a bright shade of red " didn't mean it Camren I swear it's just-" I cut him off by hugging him "it's alright I like it" I reply still hugging him. We pull apart and I fallow him back to his dolls "Enoch are they ready to fight" I ask excitedly "they are ready" he replies, I clap my hands fast "ya can we watch them" I ask him "alright but lets have a little wager" he asks giving me is signature smirk "alright if I win you have to make me a nice doll and if you win....." "I get a kiss....on the cheek of corse" he says smiling, I nod my head and watch him put the hearts into the doll. They start to fight and in the end Enoch's doll wins and he looks at me, I start to walk up to him but before I can do it Miss Peregrine calls us down for supper but before I can leave his room Enoch pulls me back "I still get that kiss now you know" he replies smiling at me.

We run down stairs and go into the dining room and see that everyone is waiting for us "oh look the lovebirds are finally down hear" Emma says as Olive giggles, we sit down and start eating amedeatly, soon Miss Peregrine leaves and Enoch looks at me and raises his eyebrows, I quickly kiss his cheek and  go back to my dinner. I look up and everyone is looking at me wide eyed and Enoch is blushing "what it was a wager and I lost" I simply say as I continue to eat. Miss. Peregrine comes back and tells us to go into the room for movie time, we all walk in and Enoch saves a seat for me beside him on the couch. I sit down and we all wait for Horace to start. Soon enough he starts but this time Miss. Peregrine can't stay with us she had to go do something. Horace starts his dream, it starts like usual he's looking and buying some cloth but again just like last time it flashes to the front of the house and it's the boy from the first dream. He's just standing there until Miss Peregrine opens the door and let's him in, he get's introduced to some people and then Enoch walks down stairs and starts grabbing some hearts, then out of know wear I walk down calling Enoch's name and when I get down there the boy is looking at me eye's wide. Before I can say anything Enoch pushes me behind him, like he's protecting me from something. Then the scene changes and I'm in Enoch's room and I'm helping him build one of his dolls, he keeps asking me for tools and I just keep handing it to him but the last tool he grabs my hand and doesn't let me go. He pulls me to his level so he can talk to me "listen to me Carmen please stay away from him.....for me" all I do is nod my head and smile, he smirks back and continues to work on the doll. After that scene all the kids are looking at us "looks like Enoch is jealous of the future boy" Hugh says laughing and bee's start coming out of his mouth.

After a couple of hours we are all about to go to bed and just like last night Enoch stops me before I can go into my room "so about that dream Horace had-" I cut him off, and yes I know I have a problem with cutting  him off but whatever "it's okay Enoch I thought it was very cute" I reply kissing him on the cheek again and before he can say anything else I run into my room and fall asleep.
