Carmen P.O.V 

When we finally get to the beach everyone is standing there waiting for us "how are we going to get Miss. Peregrine back" I say finally calming down "we don't know that but what we do know is, we know wear she is" Jake says to us "but the bad news is, we have know idea how to get there" he says kind of embarrassed "is she close" I ask "no she's pretty far" he responds a little sadly. I look over at Enoch a bit upset, he looks back at me with happy eyes, his look telling me that it will be okay. I look back at him with the same kind of look telling him that I'm okay.

We all stand there dumb founded for a while, until Emma's eyes light up "I have an idea" she says happy "what is it" Jake asks confused "the boat" she replies, this time Jake's eyes light up. We all stand there confused, what the hell was the boat, finally after a couple of hours of silent I ask "what the hell is the boat". They look at me and just smile "just fallow us" Emma says smiling. We fallow them onto a small boat, when we get on I relise that there isn't enough room for me, I look around to see if there's anything for me to sit on but in the end there was nothing. Soon Hugh clear's his throat "it think you have to sit on Enoch's lap" he says as Fiona giggles in the background, I look down at Enoch and see him blushing. I slowly walk over to Enoch and sit on his lap, without wasting a second he raps his arms around my waist and without thinking I lay my head on his chest.

    We soon are in the middle of the ocean and everyone's confused again, Emma dives into the water and everyone fallows. Enoch and I are the last ones "should we fallow" I ask but he doesn't answer. He just takes me hand and jumps into the water. We wear swimming for a while but my air is about to run out, I'm behind everyone else. Emma does her air thing but because I'm so far behind she doesn't get me, Enoch is way in front of me. My lungs start to kill me and I can't take it anymore but I tell myself I have to push harder. I need to tell Enoch that I didn't get an air bubble. We are all really close to the ship but at the last second I couldn't take it anymore my lungs wear hurting way to much. I open my mouth and let all the water in and for a second I feel relaxed but soon everything goes black.

Enoch's P.O.V

I hear a faint noise behind me, I turn around and see Carmen floating and not moving...not even breathing. I panic and relise that she was to far to get an aire bubble. I quickly turn around and swim up to her, I take her body and start to sim down to the ship with everyone else. The ship finally has air, I pick Carmen up and put her on a table and she is still not moving or breathing. Everyone starts to gather around and I hear Emma gasp "Enoch I'm so sorry I didn't see her, I thought everyone had air" she says almost crying. Emma pushes me to the side and starts to give Carmen CPR. When she's done I watch Carmen and she still doesn't move or breaths. Everyone looks at me "I'm so sorry Enoch" Emma says looking at me with sad eyes "she's not dead" I say not taking my eyes off her "Enoch" she says putting her hand on my shoulder. I turn around and push her a little "YOU ALL LISTEN TO ME SHE'S NOT DEAD AND NON OF YOU WILL TOUCH HER UNTIL SHE WAKES UP" I scream at them. Everyone looks at me stunned, I just walk out of the room and slam the door. It can't be true Carmen can't be dead, I never got to tell her how I truly felt about her.

She was the one thing that made me happy.
