A new child (Enoch X Reader)

Chapter 6

Carmen's P.O.V

I wake up the next excited because today's the day I ge to go into town with Enoch. I get up and put on a nice blue dress, I run to Enochs room and nock on the door and no answer, I nock again and the same thing happens. I give up and open the door and see that Enoch os still sleeping, I groan and walk over to him. I sit on the edge of the bed and I nicly shake him a little bit "Enoch, come on wake up" I say softly, trying to wake him uo as nickly as posible. I shake him again and he still wont wake up, I lower my face to his adn whisper "come on Enoch wake up" after I say that Enoch goes roles onto his back and we become face to face, are noeses almost touching. He opens his eyes slowly and looks at are position "why are we so close" he asks a little confused "um...well....um...you see you wern't waking up so I...you know" Is top myself from rembeling andy further, I get up and start walking out of the room "meet you downstairs" I say as I close the door.  I wait for a couple of minutes, at the dining room table, Enoch comes down with a small bag "well come on we don't have all day" he says as he walks out the door. I quickly fallow him out the door.

 We finally make it to the town "so how do we get the hearts" I ask confused "easy we find mice and then cut there hearts out" he says "okay let's make another wager, who can find the most mice in an hour" I say smirking at him "okay...1...2...3...GO" he yells as he runs one way and I went the other. A couple of minutes later we meet back at the front of the pub "okay how much did you get Enoch" I ask knowing I'll win "I got 5 there fast and hard to catch, how about you" he asks kind of out of breath "oh I got 15" I reply smiling  "how did you get 15, how did you catch them" "simple I froze them solid" I reply smiling "that's amazing, now comes the fun part we get to cut out the hearts" he says smirking a little. We quickly cut out the hearts and put them in jars and walk back to the house.

When we get there I see that Jack is back. I look back at Enoch and he has his Evil smirk, before I can ask what he's doing he runs into the house and starts talking to jack. They both go up stairs and I relise what there about to do, they are going to see Victor. I quickly run upstairs and run in front of the door and put my arms out "move Carmen" Enoch says sternly "no Enoch you know it makes Bronwyn angry when you do it" I say sternly back "I said move Carmen" Enoch says again, soon everyone comes out of there rooms to see the scene except for Clair and Bronwyn "if you go in there Enoch....I'm not gonna be your friend any more" I say glairing at him a little, he stands there silently for a little then he finally speaks "I think Jack would want to see Victor, isn't that right Jack" Enoch says still staring me down "yes I would like to see Victor" he responds. I stand there for a while but after a couple of seconds I relise that I'm not going to win "fine but.......don't talk to me again Enoch" I say as I stomp away.

After a couple of minutes Miss. Peregrine wants us all to go for a walk, we all gather up down stairs except for Enoch and Jack. After awhile Jack run's downstairs, looking a little scared "oh Jack is Enoch up there with you, it's time for our afternoon walk" Miss Peregrine says kindly. Soon enough they both come downstairs. As we are walking Emma and Jack leave to go off somewhere, I'm walking in the front alone, a couple of minutes later I feel someone tap on my shoulder and It's Enoch "Carmen why aren't you speaking to me" Enoch asked concerned "I'm not talking to you because you went to see Victor even those I told you not to" I reply angrily "come on Carmen" he says a little mad. I get fed up I turn around quickly "miss. Peregrine may I please walk home now" I asks sweetly "you may Carmen" she replies as she keeps walking, I look at Enoch and glair a little and he looks at me with a hint of sadness "Carmen please" he says to me but I don't answer I just walk back home......alone.
