Chapter 14

A/N This song I put up there. Is a song I have to sing in class. I have to sing it to over 26 people because apparently I'm the only person who can sing. It's a sad story if you really listen to it though.

Carmen's P.O.V

Enoch and I are standing in the door way dumb founded, which one will Enoch shoot. I though to my self. Enoch just keeps moving the crossbow so it was pointing at both of the "how do we know which one is which" I say. They both turn around "I'm Jake" they both say at the same time, I just huff in frustration "guys I'm Jake, I lived in California and I was just an ordinary boy" one of the Jakes say "no he's lying I'm the real Jake, he pretended to be my doctor for three weeks" another one replies.

I look at Enoch "what do we do" I asked "I don't know daring" he says sounding as worried as me. We all stand there dumb founded thinking of what to do, there are two Jakes and we don't know which one is the fake one. Then I have an idea "who are you" I ask, Enoch and Emma look at me weirdly "I'm Jake" they both say at the exact same time "no explain who you are to me" I reply as I walk up to them. Enoch takes my arm and pulls me back a little but I shrug his arm off me and continue to walk up to them.

When I get up tp them I ask again "please explain yourself to me" I say sternly "I'm Jake I promise I don't have any friends I lived in Florida my grandfather died and I'm just a normal boy, I'm just ordinary" the one on my left says "you are Jake" I reply as I hug him. Right when he reps his arms around me I take his arm and twist it behind his back "Jake....the real Jake where do I throw him" I yell to the Jake that's behind me "right in front of you" he replies. I nod my head yes and I push fake Jake in front of me. all of a sudden he is lifted up and he's turned into the man who took Mrs. P.

Enoch takes my hand and we rush out of the room and outside where everyone is. When we get out there Jake stops me and everyone's else stops "Carmen who did you know I was the real one" Jake asks confused "I know because Jake your not ordinarily your just like us, you can see the monsters and that's something amazing. You will and always be a peculiar child like us" I say smiling at him. Out of know where Jake hugs me but it's not a friend hug it a really tight hug "thank you Carmen" he whispers into my ear, I hug him back and whisper "your welcome" .

Before we can pull apart Enoch roughly pulls me away from Jake "I started to like you Jake don't ruin it" he replies in a low stern voice and right after he says that in that voice he used I lost it. I kissed him and it wasn't a sweet kiss it was a rough lust filled kiss, we pull apart and Enoch is looking at me a little wide eyed "I love you Enoch O'Conner and only you" I say smiling at him.
