Chapter 4

Carmen's P.O.V        

A couple of years later

I'm in Enoch's room helping him make one of his dolls, it's been a couple of years now so I know what he needs when he needs it, he doesn't even have to name the tool he just has to put his hand out and I know exactly what he needs. He was in the middle of attaching an arm when we hear a nock at the door, I run to the window to see who it is and what I saw shocked me. I quickly close the window and walk back to Enoch and continue to watch him build "who was at the door darling" he asks not taking his eyes off the doll. Enoch and I aren't together he just calls me darling a lot and I really like it, he's the only boy who can call me darling. 

I don't answer Enoch and he clears his throat "what oh sorry Enoch I didn't hear you what did you say" I ask him "who was at the door" he asks again "OH! It was no one" I respond smiling at him, all he does is nod and continue working. In the middle of finishing he gets up "wait Enoch wear are you going" I ask "only downstairs to get some more hearts darling" he responds as he walks down stairs. I stand there for a while then I relise that the boy is down stairs so I run down and see that I'm to late Enoch is already staring him down but before I can say anything Enoch pushes me behind him like he's protecting me from a monster. I try to get to the boy but Enoch is to strong and I can't get passed him "Enoch let Carmen meet Jacob" Miss. Peregrine says sweetly, Enoch slowly moves away so I can go to Jacob. I walk up to him and put my hand out to shake "hello there Jacob I'm Carmen" I say with a smile on my face, I hear Enoch grown in the background, Jacob takes my hand but quickly flinches "oh my god your freezing" he says as he rubs his hands together, I look down sadly and run upstairs ignoring Enoch calling my name.

Enoch's P.O.V (surprise)

I see Carmen run upstairs, I call her name three times but she ignores me. When she's fully upstairs I glair at the boy, I walk up to him and push him onto the wall "you listen to me,you EVER hurt her again I will send my dolls after you and they WILL kill you" I sternly say to him "look I'm sorry okay, I didn't mean to hurt her" he says a bit scared "I don't care if you ment to or not you still hurt her and no one hurts my darling you got the" I says still really angry, he just nods his head really fast. Miss Peregrine comes back ad sees me pinning him to the wall "Enoch let him go" she says really sternly "but miss he hurt Carmen" I reply still not letting him go "Enoch let him go and apologise" she says almost yelling. I let him go but I storm up stairs without apologising.

Back to Carmen's P.O.V

I'm sitting in the corner of my room and the corner is slowly freezing, it happens when I'm really upset wear ever I am will slowly start to freeze. I hear someone nock at the door and amedeatly I know it's Enoch "come in" I call out, the door opens and Enoch walks and sees me in the corner with my knees tucked in and the room almost frozen. He walks up to me and sits down right beside me, he raps his arms around me "don't touch me Enoch, I'll probably freeze you" I say trying not to cry "darling you wont freeze me, sure you might be a bit cold to the touch but you have a warm heart" he says not letting me go. I rap my arms around him and the room slowly starts to unfreeze, we stay there in each others arms until the door open and someone walk in. we pull apart and see that Clair was standing there "I'm sorry if I interrupted but Miss. Peregrine wants you two down for supper" she says as she giggles and runs down stairs.

We go downstairs, I'm about to sit down beside Enoch when Jacob calls me to sit beside him, I gladly accept and sit beside him "look Carmen I'm sorry that I said you wear freezing I never ment it" Jacob says nicely. I look over at Enoch and he's just looking down "It's okay Jacob you didn't know" I reply smiling at him, I hear Enoch clear his throat. I look over at him "really Carmen you forgive him just like that" he says a little bit annoyed "oh look at this Enoch's jealous of Jacob" Hugh says smiling "I am not jealous Carmen can mary Jacob for all I care" he responds angrily "oh so now you don't care about me Enoch, YOU CAN MARY OLIVE FOR ALL I CARE" I scream back at him. We just glair at each other for a little until Enoch breaks "I'm sorry Carmen, I didn't mean what I said" he says with a tone of guilt in his voice "it's okay Enoch, I'm also sorry for yelling I never ment a word I said" I reply smiling at him.

We all sit down for Horace's movie it starts playing and again it starts with Horace getting a new suit, then it flashed to this morning when Jacob cam and his interdiction to the house then it flashed to my room when me and Enoch wear hugging, then it flashes to me and Enoch on the beach and we are holding hands , Enoch puts his hand on my face and we start to lean. I look over at Enoch and he's watching the screen with his eyes wide and right before are lips touch the scene changes and it's just me standing in a big room alone "let him go" I say sternly, then a man comes out with white eyes "and if I dont" he asks smirking, the scene changes again and it's Enoch and he's chand up to the wall. It changes back to me and I look angry "I SAID LET HIM GO" I scream, the man just chuckles and says simply  "no", then everything goes dark I close my eyes and when I open them there shining a pretty whit/silver, there is a white power going around my hands "I. SAID. LET. MY. LOVE. GO" and after that I shoot my power out of my hands and it turns the man into an ice sculpture, when I'm done I push the man over and he shatters "I told you to let him go" then I run up to Enoch and unchain him, we are about to hug but before it happens something shoots to my head and I faint. Before anything else can happen Miss. Peregrine stops Horace "now that's enough of that Horace it's almost time" she says telling us all to go out side.  We all go out and put on are gas masks and like always I stand beside Enoch and wait for the bomb.

When it's all done Emma shows Jacob home before I go to bed instead on Enoch stopping me I stop him "Enoch wait" I say stopping him, he turns around and before he can say anything I hug him goodnight and we all go to sleep.
