ASHTONS CALLING
"Hey" I smile as I answer the phone
"Hi Mila,you alright?" He asks
"Yeah fine thanks" I reply
"Well I Erm....I just wondered are you busy tonight?" He questions
Taking me off guard,I let silence fill the room
"Erm nothing why?" I wonder
"Well I just wondered if you wanted to go bowling or something like that?" He says
My cheeks heat up in red for a moment
"Erm yeah sure why not?" I comment
"Okay great,I'll pick you up at 8pm" He informs me before hanging up the phone.
I can't help it,I think I'm actually developing feelings for him.Secretly I think I pave liked him since we kissed.
"Oh damn it Mila,you can fall for him after everything he's done to you" my conscience warns
"Shut up" I fire back
Damn it's 7pm already
I rake through my wardrobe pulling out piles and piles of clothes.
I finally choose a glittery pink top,black skinny jeans and my trusty converse.I put on some make up and decide to put some red lipstick on,I throw my hair up in a bun.
Dead on 8pm my door bell rings.
Butterflies fill my stomach,god why am I so nervous.It's only Ashton I've know him my whole life,what is wrong with me?
I race down the stairs grabbing my leather jacket on the banister,pulling it on before opening the door.
"Hey" I greet him
"Wow Mila looking hot" He compliments me
"Why Thankyou,you don't look so bad yourself" I joke
He's wearing a black hoodie,black skinny jeans and white converse.
"Oh Mila is that Ashton?" My mum calls down the stairs
"Bye mum" I laugh slamming the door behind us
"Seeing as it's not far I thought we might walk,is that okay?" He asks
"Yeah sure" I reply as we walk down the road
"So what's the random reason for inviting me out?" I question him
"What I can't take a pretty girl I've known all my life out?" He says,looking offended
"Come on Ashton me and you both know there's a reason behind this,what is it?" I ask
"Okay okay you caught me" He holds his hands up in surrender
"Wait is this where you plan to kill me?" I joke
"No I wanted to talk to you,so here it goes" He takes a deep breath
Silence fills the air
"Well I like you,there I said it" He shrugs placing his hands in his pockets
That comment caught me off guard,causing my heart to flutter.I know it sounds stupid but I think I like him too?
"I like you too" I comment
"No Mila,I mean I like you more than a friend" He tells me
"Oh" Is all I can say
