"The hills are alive!" I sang throughout the empty apartment, Nugget watching me as I twirled around like a dork. "With the sound of Halloween!"

I continued to butcher the song by reworking it for Halloween. I was decorating the apartment a little bit. I had made giant spiderwebs out of trashbags, and was hanging them up, along with some casually strewn skulls and pumpkins. I was deffinatly not going for a horror thing, just casualy "spoopy". I also had a reason to decorate now.

Sam, Colby, Ally, and Ira were coming over to help me film a YouTube video. We were supposed to be baking some Halloween treats, and decorating. I was also helping the boys film their own video. Halloween costumes/make up.

Somehow, the boys got here first. I let them in and we set up for filming in the living room for their video first. By the time we had the lights and stuff up, Ally and Ira had arrived with the supplies we asked them to pick up.

"We're here!" Ally called, walking in with the bag held above her head in victory.

"Hi! Awesome thank you." I said, hugging them both before we spread out all the supplies on the coffee table we had set up in front of the couch.

Sam and Colby leaned over to look. Colby picked up a thing of eyeshadow. "What's this for?" He asked.

I started explaining, pointing things out as I mentioned them. "Black eyeshadow, because as somebody with a latex allergy, I never put any kind of paint directly on the eyelids. Now, this is the face paint, Ally brought the make up sponges for fading and shading, and these are all the detail and broad brushes. There's no grease paint, because that crap's expensive, and is hard to wash off. Everything we need for the costumes themselves is right here. Are we ready?"

"I have never trusted anyone more to paint my face." He responded. Sam saluted me, and we sat on the couch facing the camera, and began filming their video.

"What's up everybody, it's Sam and Colby." Colby introduced.

"We are here with a friend of ours, Fable." Sam continued. "With Halloween coming up, we thought we should do something about it. And lucky us, Fable here" he lightly patted my shoulder. "Is an artist, and does a ton of crafty kinda stuff."

"So today, she is going to help us get ready for Halloween, by helping us with our costumes. She's going to make Sam a skeleton, and me a werewolf." Colby continued.

Sam clapped once. "So let's get started. As you can see, there is a ton of stuff here, and we're gonna see how she uses it."

I laugh. "That makes me sound so mysterious. 'A wild Fable prowls her natural habitat. She has some strange tools, but researchers don't know what they're for.'"

I turned to Colby. "I'll start with you, because it'll take a little less time."

He nodded and I began applying some dark brown eyeshadow around his eyes, and using contour to make his cheekbones stand out even more. I talked as I worked.

"You know, I had never used contour until you asked me about this." I said.

Sam sounds startled. "Never?"

I laughed. "No, I really hadn't. The max make up I ever use is some foundation, blush, eyeshadow and eyeliner, and lip gloss or whatever. And I'm pretty sure I don't actually put on my eyeshadow 'properly.' I really don't care. But I did a ton of YouTube research on it for this though, and practiced before I screwed up Colby's face on the internet."

"Well thanks for that." Colby said.

I turned to the camera. "I should say, the werewolf look we're going for is 'just before the change.' So he hasn't wolfed out yet, but his features are starting to turn wolfy, hence sharpening the cheekbones, which would otherwise be rediculous because Colby has been blessed in that department."
