A few weeks after Danny was born, and all of our immidiate family had met him, Teamiplier came over from L.A. to see him.

Ethan and I made sure to clean up the house th day before they came. But with a newborn, we had litttle energy to care much about what the house looked like to our friends.

Ethan woke upearly to pick them up at the airport. I stayed home with Danny. I was able to get dressed for the day, in my handmade Hufflepuff hooded sweatshirt, sewn like a baseball tee, with a grey body and black sleeves and hood, a black pockey in the front like a pouch, and the Hufflepuff chresy hand painted on the chest, with the sorting hut ryme on the back.

"You might belong in Hufflepuff,
Were they are brave and loyal.
Those patient Hufflepuffs are true
And unafraid of toil.

I had made Ethan a hoodie of his own, his Gryfinor of course. And he looked darn cute in it.

I finished getting dressed, putting on faded blue jeans and a pair of fuzzy, grey and black socks. I did not have the time or energy to worry about matching this mornng. The fact that I did as an accident, but a happy one. I quickly my teeth and threw my hair in a quick side braid, rushing downstairs to make a pot of coffee, finishing just before Danny woke up.

While I was pstairs in the nursery, feeding Danny, I got a call from Ethan.I put the phone on speaker.

"Hey Bear! How's it going?" I asswered, tired before coffee my morning ecoffee, but still happy.

"Hey Fabes. It's good. I've got eA/Nverybody in the car and we're almost home." he said.

I panicked a little. "Ethan, I hope you can take at least five minutes to get here. I am literaly attatched to a baby right now, and that would be a little awkward."

I heard a choking sound and laughter from the other end, before Ethan spoke, sounding a little embarrased. "Hey, Fay? You're on speaker."

Oh geez. Heck.

I couldn't formulate a responce. I had to burp Daniel first.

"Okay then. Um. Hi guys. I'm sorry you had to hear that." I appologised over the phone, patting Daniel's back.

I heard Amy over the line. "Hi Fable! It's fine, don't be embarresed. You do you. We'll go aroundthe block"

I decided to push past the enbarassment, ignoring it for the moment, instead focusing on puttting a fresh diaper and footed pajamas on Danny.
"Well, I'm changing him and getting him dressed right now. I'll be able to get the door in jus a minute." I said.

"Great! We'll see you in a minute, then. Love you!" Ethan replied.

"I love you too. I'll see you in a minute. Bye." I answered, inspecting my newly dressed baby, and hanging up.

Daniel looked so cute, dressed in his dinosaur pajamas and blinking up at me, his eyes now turned Ethan's light hazel, and his dark hair sticking up like an exotic bird.
I picked him up, puttting him back in his crib for a minue so I could wash my hands, before wrapping him in a fluffy blue blanket and carrying him downstairs.

I attempted to smooth his hair down whb we got downstairs , but it shot back up instantly, refusing to be tamed. I chuckled.
"Don't worry, little man, mommy's hair does that in the morning too." I told him.

I heard the doorbell, and quickly opened the door, moving Daniel to one arm.

"Oh my gosh, look at this baby!" Amy squeeled, stepping inside and giving me a half hug, carefull not to squish the baby.
