A few weeks later, Christina had gone home, Sam and Colby left for tour, and Ally and Ira moved into their new apartment.

There was a problem with the one they were going to move to apparently, so they ended up moving into our building, about 2 floors above mine and Lucy's. It's really cool having them in the same building, especially with the boys being gone. I don't feel so lonely, even if we don't see each other every day.

At the moment, I'm at work. The pizza place is small, the dinning area only about 18x20. The walls are brick, with different artwork hanging on the walls above each booth, usually with aliens, cows, pizza ingredients, or something with the color scheme. The floors are tile that looks like gray hardwood.

I'm at the counter between the door and the dining room, so I can see both. We only have a few customers here on a Wednesday night. They talk quietly, as the sound of Twenty One Pilots mostly cover up the sounds of the kitchen.

As I resort the menus behind the counter, Noah comes up to the counter to hand me a few from the table that just left.

"How's it going?" He asks.

"Good. Why?" I ask.

"Well, you just seem a little bummed out since your guys left. Just wanted to make sure you're okay."

I smile. "Thanks Noah. Honestly, I'm fine. I do miss Sam and Colby, but Ally and Ira are here now, so."

"Right, right, that's good." He leans against the counter on an elbow, trying to look nonchalant. "So, uh. Speaking of which, how is Ira?" He asks.

I try to hide my smile. "She's good. You know, moved in to an apartment in my building, her and her cousin. Doing some photography work."

He nods awkwardly, looking for something to say.

"And on her way in right now." I say, looking passed his shoulder to the door, as Ira and Ally open it.

"What?" He spins around so fast I'm surprised he's still standing. He stands up straight and fixes his hat, trying to act cool, as they walk up to the counter.

They smile at him, Ira ducking her head the slightest bit.

"Hi guys. Table for 2?" I ask them.

"Hi. Yeah, that would be great." Ally says.

"Great. Right this way." I lead them to a small table by the window, and speed walk to the counter.

"Noah, go, your time is now." I stage whisper at him. His eyes open wide, and I slap 2 menus against his chest and propel him toward their table.

Ally looks a little confused, since they're not in my section. I point at Noah, then Ira as discretely as I can, and wink at her. Her face clears in understanding and she smiles, looking at Ira.

I speed back to the counter.

                                                           ---------------------------------------------------

A few hours later, my shift ends, and I head home. Ally and Ira went home about 54 minutes ago, and I invited them back to my place when I got home to hang out.

I have just enough time to get home, greet and feed Nugget, and change out of my work clothes, before they get here.

I get the door for them, and we hang out in the living room for a while.

"So, how did it go with Noah? Did he woo you? Did he tank?" I ask Ira

She looks down. "He asked me out." she says quietly.
