What happened here? It just doesn't make any sense. I take out my frustrations and unanswered questions alone in my room, unsure what has happened to the person I once knew.
Why, did you let him back into your life? I don't understand so please help me grasp the reasoning of why you invited his deception and totalitarian reign back into your life.
Please don't confuse the hurt expression on my face and grief wrought tears as feelings of self-pity or for myself. I am affected by the situation, but, that's not why I am crying- I am grieving for the fledging beginning of a woman who loved and respected herself tossed aside as he comes strolling into her place.
Your choice includes death threats, abuse, manipulation, deceit, gas-lighting, false accusations, insecurities, fear and most importantly the loss of self-worth. How can you love yourself so little? Why can't you see that you are worthy and amazing in every way when he is not in your way?
You chose him over yourself and it hurts seeing someone I love disregard themselves in such a way.
Please open your eyes and see the woman I love everyday is worth defending, cherishing, and choosing over him.
