I was walking down the hallway right when school ended for the day. I put my belongings in my locker and packed any homework in my backpack.
I sighed as I closed my locker door and down towards the school entrance to leave. He didn't notice me again. I've been in his class ever since Freshman year of high school. How has he not noticed this year, our Sophomore year?
I opened the front door to the sight of my my crush making out with one of my very few best friends. My best friends who knew that I liked him. My friend who just turned around and smirked while my crush stared at me.
"H-how could you do this to me M-Mari?" I asked, my voice full of hurt and my eyes filled with tears. I immediately ran towards my car in the parking lot. This was not just the day to park it all the way on the other side of the school building. It sounded like someone was behind me, but it just made me speed up my pace even more.
I was almost to my car when I felt someone pull my wrist and turn me around. I guess they finally caught up. When I did turn around, I was greeted with the face of whom I didn't want to see right now.
"What do you want, Jungkook?" I asked, my voice weak, tears streaking my face.
"Wait...how do you know my name?" he asked, looking confused.
"I've been in your class since Freshman year. Anyways, what do you want?" I replied.
"N-nothing, I guess. I saw you running away so I thought that I might go after you and ask what's wrong." Jungkook answered.
"Why don't you ask the girl you were making out with!" I spat out. "I gotta go to my cousin's house now, bye." I added. I said that because my cousin is one of the few people that understands me ever since my parents died in a plane accident 3 years ago. I really need to talk to him right now.
Jungkook just let go of my wrist and I walked away, tears threatening to spill again.
