💔Taehyung's Point of View💔
I finally arrived at my cousin's house, which was about 30 minutes away from school and 20 minutes away from my apartment.
I wiped away any remaining tears and quickly presses the doorbell. My cousin opened the door a few seconds later. When he saw my face, he immediately knew something was wrong with me.
"What's wrong?" he asked worriedly as he motioned me to step inside. I did and sat on the couch in his living room while he went to get some water for me from the kitchen.
He came back a few seconds later and handed me the bottle.
"So, tell me." my cousin said.
"W-well Seokjin," I started out, stuttering, "You know my crush, right?" Seokjin nodded his head. He already knew that I was gay. It's nearly impossible for him to not figure things out about me. Plus, he was the first one I told about my crush. It wasn't Mari, my ex-friend, it was him.
Seokjin also goes to my school, but he's a grade ahead of me. He's one of the populars, but he's one that is nice to everyone. That's why he's popular. Not because he's a bad boy or plays any sports like others would be. He's simply popular because of kindness. It's kind of rare in today's world too.
I continued, "I spotted that he and another girl were making out at the front entrance of school at the end of the day. Guess who it was?"
"Who?" Seokjin asked.
"Mari." I confessed. I started to break down. "She-she knew that I-I l-liked him ever s-since were w-were -freshmen." I cried as he pulled me into his chest and rubbed my back. Thank goodness that his parents weren't home. They're on a business trip in the U.S for about a month. It's been one week since they left.
I cried for what seemed like forever until there was a sudden knock on the door. We quickly pulled away and I wiped my tears away as fast as I could while Seokjin walked towards the door.
"Sorry V! I forgot to tell you that my friend was comming over!" Seokjin apologized as he opened the door. 'V' is my nickname for my real name, 'Kim Taehyung'. I heard a familiar voice say 'hey' and then heard footsteps around the corner.
Once this person turned the corner, we both said in unison, "It's you!" Seokjin looked back and forth at us, trying to figure out what was going in between us. I could tell he felt the tension in the air.
