Chapter 8: Denial

💔Taehyung's Point of View💔  

"I-I don't kn-know if I w-want to t-tell you." I stuttered, turning my back away from him.

He spun me back around with his hands firm on my shoulders, forcing me to look at him. He seemed to have a sad look in his eyes. He doesn't care for me, does he?

"Please." he pleaded, his voice starting to crack. I've never seen him like this before. My heart feels all weird looking at his face like this. It's that feeling when you don't want to see your loved one sad or hurt, it's heartbreak. Sometimes your heart breaks when you see them in a state like this.

I took a deep breath and agreed, "Okay. On one condition, you don't tell anyone else. Okay?" He nodded his head like he understood and I explained everything, well, most everything. I left the part out where I starved myself. When I told him that I had a crush on him, he apologized.

"I...I'm sorry Taehyung." he said as his hands fell off my shoulders. "I-I can't. At least...not now." He just walked away from me. Leaving me all alone with my head hanging down in sadness.

"Don't go." I whispered as tears fell down my face. I ran out of the park back to school, not caring if I bumped into anyone at all.

Once I parked my car, I immediately got out and locked it before I ran inside. I ran up the apartment stairs until I found my room.

I fumbled with my keys as I tried to unlock my door. Finally, I unlocked the door and immediately ran in, slamming the door behind me. It's like I've been slamming door a lot recently.

I hid in my small bathroom, locking it behind me. I sat in the cold bathroom tub.

I found something shiny as I stood up and started to calm down. Curiosity took over and I picked up the object. Turns out, it was a mirror shard that I guess I missed when cleaning up this morning.

I started to wonder what it would feel like if I made a cut in my arm with it. I wonder if it would make me forget. Once again, curiosity took over and I took the shard and slid it up my arm.

It stung, but it was enough for me to forget. I put more pressure on my arm as I began to feel dizziness. More tears fell down my face. I didn't care about my phone ringing as I fell into a world of darkness.
