chapter 10

Jack

Jack woke by someone nugging him up. He sat up and whipped the sleep from his eyes. Elizabeth handed him his clothes, he quickly dressed and went with Elizabeth to the lunch hall. When they walked in, jack saw Henry out of the many kids. The lunch hall was crowded with kids and jack ducked as a small firework whizzed by his face. Henry waved for him. Jack shook his head and fallowed Elizabeth to an empty seat. Jack found a spot right next to her. A few moments no seconds later a plate of dilishous breakfast food appeared in front of jack and Elizabeth. The plates came with silver ware but jack didn't bother, he didn't know why he was so hungry. Jack would shove food in his mouth seeing how much he could get until he needed to swallow. Elizabeth on the other hand at first starred at jack in disgust.

"What?" jack asked with a mouthful of food.

"nothing." Elizabeth quickly said

Jack sawlloed all the food down and asked again.

"What? Is there something on my Face? Is it off yet?"

"no it was just very disgusting to see you shove yourself full of food. I am very supriesed I am not barfing." Elizabeth said

"ha ha very funny." Jack said with sarcasim.

"soo are you going to help me with math again?" jack asked

"Why can you not figure it out with that big head of yours?" Elizabeth asked.

"hey. Now will you?" jack asked again

"this time I'll show you not let you cheat." Elizabeth said

"it was a lot better when I cheated, no work for me." Jack said sipping on his orange juice.

Jack's face went green. He spit the juice back in the cup.

"What is that stuff?!" jack said whipping his tounge with his napkin.

"oh, you must have gotten pig nog." Elizabeth said plainly

"What in the world is pig nog?!" jack said.

"oh lots of stuff really. Why do you think people call it pig nog. Pigs eat everything right, so everything is in that." Elizabeth said.

"EWW, I think I'm going to he sick,"jack said holding his stomache. "do you want to share?"

"what you share with me? You must be crazy." Elizabeth said.

"come on please." Jack pleaded.

Jack kept pleading until Coralyn appeared on the opposite side of Elizabeth or in other words behind jack. Elizabeth stopped laughing and looked at her plate. Jack turned around and saw Coralyn.

"Jack can I talk to you? Privetly?" Coralyn said clearly not a quiesiton.

Jack looked at Elizabeth who whipped her mouth on her napkin. And got up.

"Tell me when you two are finished I would like to finish breakfast." Elizaebth said

Jack really didn't want her to go, to leave him all alone with Coralyn, especially Coralyn. Jack watched her go. Coralyn pushed elizabeth's stuff off the bench were she sat. Jack looked if Elizabeth was still there grabbed a clean napkin and whipped the cup rim which happened to be the juice Elizabeth had left. He again checked and drank out of it. This time it was ginger ale, not some pig nog. Then jack rememebered who was sitting directly infront of him. Jack put the cup down and smiled and Coralyn who just shook her head.
