Jack
After leaving Reyna all alone to face the demons alone, jack couldn't see why he wasn't crying. Jack didn't like to cry but for Reyna he thought he would be able to shed a few tears. Henry hadn't looked back after the tower had erupted in flames and the howl died. As they flew jack heard a scream behind him. Henry was the first to turn and see the tower in orange flames burning towards the ground.
The howl echoed through the night air traveling on the clouds riding towards them. The howl started to turn into a girl's screaming.
"Henry!" the words of the scream were faint but jack could hear them as clear as day.
Jack looked at henry that looked as if he was going to murder someone. Soon after the scream died down and the tower fell to the ground, jack looked back at the tower and nodded at it. Jack knew that no one could survive that fall, he hoped that Reyna had gotten off the tower before it exploded lighting the sky.
"Good bye Reyna Goldstring, we will never forget you." Jack thought to himself as he nodded at the tower.
Jack knew how hard it was for someone to lose someone; jack had been in that role too many times. Jack had silently thanked Reyna for staying behind and letting Elizabeth come with him.
Jack looked up to see Anna and a sudden anger filled inside him. Anna had the chance to take down the demon, or take on more of a fight but no she was the first on the pegisi. Tony looked grim like usual but if he had known Reyna as much as Jack and Henry had known her he would be even more upset. Jack knew that they didn't know a lot about Reyna, he also knew that she didn't like talking about herself.
Jack flew up to henry, they glided side by side. Henry didn't look at him or any of the others. Jack didn't understand why henry wasn't wearing him neon sports jacket that he took and wore with him everywhere. Jack looked up ahead and saw a green light hit the sky like a lightning bolt. Jack jerked his reins and almost sent Elizabeth and him falling off Rome. Henry did the same, the light died down and didn't show up. Henry and jack exchanged looks and henry started off again.
There was a moment of pure darkness and then once again a green light flashed this time in front of them. Jack stopped Rome and looked at the figure coming in view. Form the back the person looked like Reyna.
"Reyna!" Henry said
The girl turned around and jack realized that this wasn't Reyna. The two of them looked a lot alike.
"Yes, Have you seen Reyna, my daughter where is she?" the woman said
Henry looked as if he had been punched in the face. He looked down and didn't look at the woman. Reyna's mom studied each of them and finally her eyes landed on jack.
"Your daughter didn't make it." Jack said sadly
The woman's smile died into a frown. She looked around as if to make sure.
"But I didn't feel her presence die." The woman said
Henry looked up happiness started to grow in his eyes.
"So you're saying she's not dead?" Jack asked for henry
"No she isn't dead. Well since she isn't here I guess I will just have to tell you children. There is a way to save my daughter." Reyna's mom said
"What is it?" henry asked
"It is called the Waterfall of Truth. This is not any ordinary waterfall it has the power to show you what you wish. You all must travel there." Reyna's mom said
