chapter 21

Jack

Jack was very confused. Elizabeth had told them that she just saw reyna but she didn't look like she wanted to talk.

"What, she'll talk to me, i- I" henry said.

"What's even wrong with her? First she goes underwater, then she knows the dude we ran into and now she won't even talk to us." Jack said.

"Just le-" Elizabeth started but stopped herself.

Jack looked up to see the head master making his way toward their table. Henry must have noticed it too because he was silent. They watched him make his way to the end of the table, and bend down. Three seconds later the man walked toward one of the many doors jack knew nothing about. Reyna stood up and looked at them all before she turned. Henry jumped up so fast that he almost knocked the table over. Henry smiled at her but Reyna was already at the door. She paused and then continued. The door swung back into place as it disappeared henry sank back down into his seat.

"What did I do?" Henry asked

"WE don't know that it was you." Jordan said

Jordan's words didn't work because none of them had talked to Reyna but Henry since they ran into the boy.

"Well I have had my fair share and I am going to walk around." Jack said standing up.

"May I come with?" Elizabeth said

"sure. Coralyn Jordan Henry want to come?" jack said

"no I am going to bed." Coralyn and Jordan said at the same time.

"Maybe I can find Reyna." Henry mumbled

Jack shrugged and Elizabeth and he went to go explore. They walked around the whole field and took the long way back to their dorm doors. Nothing happened and it wasn't like jack was expecting something to happen. They walked in silence, and it seemed that it was eating away at jack.

"So, did you like hanging out, today?" Elizabeth asked breaking the silence

"Yes, well except maybe the thing going on with henry and Reyna." Jack said

"Yeah. I have to agree with you there." Elizabeth said.

"So I guess now you have got a hand full of friends." Jack said

"Yes it seems so." Elizabeth said trying to hide her smile.

Jack could clearly tell that she was happy. When she was happy, Elizabeth seemed to glow. Maybe it was because of the moon.

"What's wrong? Are you smiling?" jack said

"No, maybe, why do you care?" Elizabeth said

"Just because it is my job, my quest to make you smile." Jack said snickering

"Let's go back." He added

She nodded and as they started to walk away jack felt something uneasy behind him. Jack looked back, at first not seeing anything then he saw the wispy blue ord. jack's eyes widened.

"Hey I guess I'll see you tomorrow." jack said

Jack stopped and tore his gaze away from the orb and looking at Elizabeth who had stopped in her tracks. She looked at him clearly confused. He smiled at her and hopped that she couldn't see the orb behind him.

"Okay." She said with a questioning tone.

Before Elizabeth could change her mind she walked down the hall and took a right.

Jack turned to face the blue orb but it had gone and reappeared by one of the many park benches. Jack ran over to it. The ball glowed brighter, jack had to shield his eyes from the light. Once the light had subsided the orb had transformed into a spirit of a young man.

"On this very Friday night you must flee the school at once!" the ghost said

"Why?" jack said in a very hushed whisper

"Allies have turned in to enemies and you must flee. Shadow walker you must flee, warn your friends and it does no good. Some will be lost, do not think you can prevent this. Not all I tell you not all will be lost. I must go." The ghost said and disappeared with a smaller light show.

Jack stood there in the darkness taking in all that the spirit had said. He kept thinking of the words that the spirit had said but his mind kept taking him to the one fraze; some will be lost.

Jack muttered the fraze over and over again taking in all that the spirit had said.

Jack turned and raced back to his new dorm. Jack decided to tell Henry, Jordan, and Tony. He stopped and thought about how he was going to explain it.

A rustle in the bushes and an eerie screech sent Jack out of his mind and into a very fast walk.

Once he made it to the door way to the dorm he saw the boy that had made Reyna very upset walk down a hall and disappear around the corner. Jack ran up the steps skipping and running as he went. When he got there jack was almost out of breath.

"What's wrong?" Henry said

"Oh, nothing just an ordinary talk with an orb." Jack said matter-of-factually

And that is how it started, he told Henry, Jordan, and Tony everything. Jack was very amazed that his friends were very quiet Jordan spoke not a word, Tony had seen something every interesting out the window and Henry just stared at jack and his bed. His friends didn't say much but their expressions told jack everything.

"That's not good." Jordan said after jack had finished talking

"No kidding, what are we going to do?" jack asked

He looked at henry then to Jordan.

"I have no idea. We should worry about it tomorrow." Henry said.

Jack knowing henry knew that he was going to think about it all night long.

"We should call the girls." Jack said

"How?" Tony asked

"Tomorrow we'll talk to them." Henry said

Jack nodded and walked over to his bed, as jack pulled off the covers he could hear Henry mumbling. Jack couldn't tell if Henry was already asleep or he was already figuring a plan. Henry was good at planning, maybe not as good as Jordan but Henry actually thought of every thing else too.

Jack laid down and starred at the roof of the room. As jack looked at the roof the more figures seemed to pop to life. Jack sat up starring at it harder. Moments the roof to the form of a normal roof and the paintings were gone.

Jack laid back downand turned to face his nightstand. Jack didn't think that he would able tosleep but soon drowsiness engulfed him and he fell straight to sleep. a-JP","re4/3t
