chapter 18

Henry

Henry decided to put his thoughts aside, Henry was so tired that as soon as Reyna stopped moving Henry fell straight to sleep.

In Henry's dream he saw himself walking around in what looked like to be a meadow. Henry saw himself turning around and running, and as he ran the scene changed to show himself in an underground volcano, the cave was hot and Henry Watched himself run over to a body lying on the ground.

Henry watched himself fall to his knees and hug the body, then as he whipped the blood from the body's face he saw that it was Reyna. Henry stepped back in pure terror, he looked around and saw Coralyn lying against the wall with a spear through her stomach. Her eyes were pale and looked at the floor. Next to her he saw Jordan barely breathing, still thinking that she was still alive.

"its okay, we'll be okay, hehehehehe." Jordan laughed

Jordan was going crazy and Henry couldn't keep looking. He looked back at himself and watched as he pulled out a knife. The dream Henry moved the knife in his hands and looked at Reyna. Then out of no where Henry watched himself violently start stabbing Reyna. Blood poured out of each fresh wound and Henry tried stopping himself.

Henry looked and saw a person in silver armor walking towards him. the person was clearly a knight, Henry watched himself pick up a spear and watched as armor grew upon him.

The knight looked at him with familiar brown eyes through the helmet. They charged at each other and before Henry could see what would happen next he woke up.

He felt some of the dry blood and his sweat roll down his face and cheeks. With one arm he still held Reyna with the other he found the dagger tied to his thigh. He looked at it then at Reyna, something in him whispered for him to do it. Henry shook his head and threw it as far away from him as possible.

"Reyna." Henry whispered

She didn't respond, which was weird on her part. Henry moved his arm and looked at her face which was a deathly pale and had a bit of a blue tint to it.

"Reyna? Reyna!" Henry yelled

Henry shook her as hard as he could but she didn't do anything to his shaking. Jack and the rest of his friends shot up.

"What! Where!" Jordan snapped as he made Coralyn roll off his stomach.

"What's the big deal!" Coralyn moaned

Jack rubbed his eyes and looked at Henry. Henry looked at him frantically and shook Reyna proving why he woke everyone up. Henry looked back to Reyna to see her head roll back. They circled Henry and watched while Jack ran off to get cold water. When jack returned, he gave the cup to Henry. Henry poured it all over Reyna's face and when he stopped and looked at her, nothing happened. Her pale but bloody skin showed no sign of life and her eyes didn't open.

Henry could feel his face going red and the tears begging to show them selves.

He hugged Reyna and buried his face in her bloody back. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Coralyn, Jordan, and Elizabeth almost start crying. He saw that jack had a blank face and wasn't looking at anyone there. Henry heard all the sniffling which made him want to cry.

Henry hugged tighter and then her back moved, Henry looked up through stuffy eyes to see Reyna sitting up for herself. She rubbed her eyes from the dry blood. She turned to face him and sat in a kneeling position. She looked at Henry very confused on why he was crying or why he was starring at her like that.
