Reyna

The wait was horrid, Reyna couldn't focus, she was more nervous than ever. Reyna paced looking around; she kept hearing Michael's screaming which pained her even more. Reyna ran to the window and looked out. The woods were dark. Michael had been in the arena for a day now. Reyna paced and looked around for anything she could use to take her mind off the dragon. Reyna looked at the door; she heard the sound of metal feet walking towards her. She stood frozen.

The door opened and the two metal demons walked in and grabbed Reyna.

She walked/dragged up a flight of stairs till she was in a cell. The metal creatures pushed her at the bars in the back on the cell. Soon she was alone. The gates behind her opened and she walked into the bright sun. Reyna shielded her eyes and looked around, towards the left she saw Michael laying on rocks in the shade. She ran but was blocked when fire lit in front of her. She looked up to see a slim shaped in the sky looping around. Reyna ran to Michael and watched as the creature dived down. Reyna ran as fast as she could around the sharp rocks and jumped over the dragon's fire patches.

Reyna made it to Michael and searched him.

"Here take this." He said holding up a sharpened stick.

Michael smiled at her and lay back down. Reyna watched as blood trickled down his chin and onto the floor. Now that Reyna was closer to him he she could see that he was badly burned.

Reyna turned and ran from Michael. The dragon landed in front of her. Up close it towered over her, it had spikes aligning its tail and head, its teeth were huge, and at the end of its tail was a thick club. The scales were a light blue and it had blood tricking down its mouth and dripped on the floor.

Reyna ran under it which took the dragon by surprise. It ended up doing a summersault by trying to chase Reyna. As Reyna ran she could see that they were watching her. At the front and at every point of the arena was a camera that captured every moment. Reyna ran up to the dragon and tried stabbing it. No blood poured out, it only roared. Reyna looked around for something to use. Reyna spotted one of the camera's, Reyna ran to it and started to climb the rocks toward the camera.

Reyna made it and grabbed the camera making it focus on her face.

"Is this what you like seeing, seeing kids suffer," she moved it to face the direction of Michael. Then the dragon "well this is for Michael." Reyna yelled

Reyna raised the spear and shot it in the middle of the camera lenses. Reyna continued to stab the camera and looked back at the dragon. The dragon was now bleeding and it couldn't walk.

Reyna ran down the rocks and ran to the other camera. The dragon whirled its tail almost hitting Michael. Reyna ran to the other camera and stabbed it. The dragon screamed and it could no longer move its tail. It grew angry and blew fire towards Reyna. Reyna ran to the other camera and shot it the dragon screamed and it could no longer breathe out fire. Reyna looked at the last camera. Reyna ran as fast as she could towards the camera, the dragon screeched at her and started rolling. Reyna threw the spear and it at the middle of the lenses. The dragon screeched and erupted in to flames. Soon there was nothing left of the dragon.

Reyna was breathing hard and the grime of the rocks and the dirt covered her arms and face she ran to Michael and helped him up. He was still breathing and could walk but slowly. They made their way towards the door. Reyna kicked it down and walked out. she dragged him down the hall. Reyna set him down against the wall.

"This isn't going to work." Reyna said.

"I can help." Michael stammered.

Reyna looked at him, Michael began to stand up. Reyna helped him but he gave her and irritated look. She let him go. As soon as she did his mouth and nose started to grow longer to form a beak. He shrank, his arms were now adorned in fire red feathers. Soon Michael was no more and there in his place was a red bird the bird was as big as an eagle and had intelligent brown eyes. Reyna stepped back running into a table.
