mixed feelings

I was jogging lightly to the student council's meeting room since I'm already 20 minutes late for the meeting, all because I overslept at the clinic.

"Yah we can slow down now, boss hasn't even get there", my ears perked up at the voice as I turned around to see Taeyong and Jaehyun panting.

"Taeyong the punk and Jaehyun, where have you been?" I asked both of them as they looked at each other

"Sorry sunbae, Taeyong and I were practicing for the upcoming dance competition and we didn't count the time", Jaehyun politely apologized

"Wah boss, did you get into a fight or something? Your knee is bandaged and your nose-", Taeyong teased as I hit his arm

"None of your concern and by the way, you're late", I crossed my arms as Taeyong raised an eyebrow

"You too", he smirked as I slapped my forehead. For a moment, I forgot that I'm late too.

"Shoot! Come on you guys, we're late", I heard them chuckled before walking beside me

"Noona, I heard you're no longer with Jungkook sunbae", I choked air as his name made me remembered what happened at the clinic. I was still unsure though, was it a dream or not?

"Yah Taeyong! Don't ask her personal stuff like that", Jaehyun scolded as I composed myself

"It's true", I replied shortly as a smirk was plastered on Taeyong's face

"So no one would mind if I do this to you?"

"Do what?" Jaehyun and I said at the same time and Taeyong abruptly kissed my cheek.

Jaehyun immediately smacked his head as I touched my cheek. Taeyong blew a kiss at me and ran to the room, leaving Jaehyun and I behind.

"YAH LEE TAEYONG! I'M GONNA PUNCH THE LIFE OUT OF YOU", I was about to run but Jaehyun stopped me

"Sunbae, you hurt your knee, you might not want to make it worse by chasing that idiot"

Jaehyun is such a kind-hearted and considerate kid, I wonder why he's never interested in the president's spot. He would fit much better than that punk, Taeyong.

We reached the meeting room and Jaehyun reminded me not to explode while we're at the meeting as we opened the door.

"Finally, the person we've been waiting for", Seulgi thanked the heavens she didn't have to replace me anymore as I cleared my throat and made my way to the center seat

"Sorry for being late, now can someone give me a heads up on the detail of the halloween party?"

"It's all nearly done and you agree with the upcoming theme right?" Seulgi asked as I nodded

"Victorian haunted house with chandelier and stuff right? Genius", I gave Joy, the decor leader, a thumbs up as she shyly mouthed thank you.

"Yup and about sponsor, Jaehyun already managed that. Posters and invitations are ready to be printed.. uhm what else? Oh about refreshments and food, Dahyun?" Seulgi averted her gaze to her as she stood up

"Ah nae (yes), Chaeyoung and I found this amazing bakery that can provide us sweet treats and stuff"

"That's just wow, I'm proud of you guys. I'm really sorry I'm not much of a help", I frowned as they all mouth 'aye'
